Sorry this took so long, I got caught up in life shit, but I managed to post our favorite jestercore vampire in time for April Fools.
Velvette is a very powerful alp (also known as an infestor) Overlord, hailing from King Mammon's court as his most trusted advisor. Every few years, she takes a random sinner body from the aftermath of exterminations and possesses it to use as a vessel. This current one is a vampire girl from the 2010s, which she dolled up to hide it's decay. She also tends to leave it around the V Tower, making Val or Vox clean it up. The Vees are a sort of found family, with Vox and Val being like her dads, but they'd all stab each other in the back if opportunity arises.

Hot take, Bendy and the ink machine has better depiction of 'hell' than Hazbin hotel. At least in the ink world we're shown that the lost ones have their negative traits increased due to ink and people in there ACTUALLY SUFFER from living in cycle of death and 'rebirth'.
I don’t know much about Bendy and the ink machine to comment and compare to Hazbin Hotel but what you described Anon does sound interesting and cool.

Description(work in progress) Angel Dust Not only famous for being one of the”Hell’s sexiest sinners” through his mature entertainment but also becoming the hotel’s first client for the skeptical redemption program To most Angel Dust is a chill laid back arachnid, putting up a font of a charismatic playboy who’s living his best….but actually dealing juggling between two worst scenarios of being treated and portrayed as just a pretty face and body for his boss and all of hell to enjoy…and hiding from a past and self that continues to haunt him and lead him to self destruct with drugs and other reckless hedonism(be it his own or others) Eventually he comes to find a self of him he likes in the hotel and learns to come to terms with not just his past self and regrets but his current afterlife, finally finding himself a life he feels is worth…living for.Originally coming because his boss wanted someone else to keep an eye on him and “tone down” his brand intake(drugs) along with wanting a lil more space/independence, Angel has come to enjoy his stay at the hotel and all the wacky shenanigans that come with it, making him truly believe he can find something better….that he can be better.
Like Pilot in terms of wisecrack and sass but at the same time, usually goes with the flow of Charlie and the hotel shenanigans, suave, cool, usually having a joke or flirty comment to reply! Think TFP Knockout vibes But underneath all the wisecracks and suaveness, lies a sensitive soul that just wants to feel…like himself. His true self. 💖 a self he can truly love and accept himself and ride or die for those who manage to break through his walls and show they def do atleast💖

So Val is in a weird position in this AU. I decided to split them into two characters basically. There's Valencio here, an succubus overlord of Lust and the owner of Hell's music industry (Porn, TV and Social Media do not go together) who owns a porn studio run by the other half of canon Val, who is unnamed and is Angelo's boss and rapist. Val is not a rapist here, just regular evil and exploitative. Like most music producers

Vox is a character I have grown very fond of overtime. Along with the listed inspirations in the picture, @redladydeath's Proto Vox AU also inspired a lot of his character here
Vox was once a powerful talk show host who cheated and charmed his way through the competition and wound up as a ugly hammerhead shark sinner after his wife poisoned him. He then made a deal with Leviathan to become charming to people again, but she managed to twist the wording of the deal on him.
Vox now uses his cuteness to fool the masses into giving him fame and money, while deeply resenting his new life as Leviathan's plaything

This community cannot handle one week without having a singular issue at all, either it's Cherry, RaySquid or Chai it's some people who cannot handle the block/mute feature and go straight to making a hitpeice.
There's been countless callout posts from people, and it's ALWAYS leads back to Chai as if HE's the issue, there's been misinformation being spread and most of it you're getting from is you guessed it Dani and the Hazbin Stan Community.
They find a way to link anything shitty as it being Chai's fault. Have we really went too far in hubris? Look, I hate proshippers but there's been misinformation done OVER AND OVER to the point people who accused Chai did NOT ever FUCKING update it, when they are made aware instead they ignore people.

Yeah, when I called out the issue beforehand they claimed they didn't know but considering you called them out and took the time to actively call out Chai and presumably research into Chai's history.

Jervis deserves to have better writers behind him! He’s honestly far more sweet, endearing, intelligent and tragic as a character than what so much of DC turns him into. He’s still a good villain, even with his positive qualities.
It’s like they decide to just take something about him and just “Insert random disgusting shit here”. Help making it edgy and dark (Cos there’s certainly a lack of that in DC):
Granted, there are plenty of ways to take the Hatter in a darker direction. The Arkham games version ALMOST does it well (Fantastic voice acting but the design and some of the writing leave a bit to be desired). The best darker version I’ve seen was in the one-shot story from the Joker’s Asylum anthology. (Which was excellent and easily the best story of the lot).
Otherwise, so many stories I’ve read do those exact things and they just don’t feel right for him . Coming across as over the top with how unpleasant they are. There are so many reasons why so many people, like me, still adore Jervis after being introduced to him from BTAS and it’s sure as hell not for any of those negative reasons listed above.
Just watch the episodes Mad as a Hatter and ESPECIALLY watch that amazing tearful, screaming breakdown he has at the end of Perchance to Dream. NEVER will a day come where 4:43 doesn’t just leave me stunned.
There’s a lot that could be said about the line,
“I was willing to give you whatever life you wanted, just to keep you out of mine!”
Jervis never saw into Bruce’s ideal life or find out his secret identity. That’s not what it was about for him. Granted, there where plenty of times where he out-right tries to kill the Batman. This time, however, it’s like a shared sense of pain. He really hopes that being given his own “Wonderland” will solve everything, but Bruce shuts his ideals down when he says,
“I won’t live a lie. No matter how attractive you make it.” That alone shows that, despite Jervis’s intellect, he isn’t mentally strong enough to live beyond the repercussions of his trauma and loneliness. Showing that, it’s not healthy to immerse ourselves in fantasy for so long that we forget reality altogether - even if it hurts like hell to do so. Making him easy to empathise with, due to our own shared desires to escape the pain of reality. Feeling such strong sympathy for a tragic but misguided figure, and to serve as a cautionary tale against making the wrong choices, in the hopes of growing mentally strong on our own - instead of hoping that love or fantasy will magically make it all better.
See? Much more interesting than a one dimensional pedophilie with a hat fetish. And I swear to god, DC, I hope to never ever see that Alice blow-up doll in the comics for as long as I live.
I wanted to point out, based on the second Alice Book, how much sense it makes for Jervis Tetch to be someone who just has a lack of understanding of ‘how the real world works’. In ‘Through the Looking-Glass’, Hatta is sent to prison and upon release people are not only sympathetic with his plight, but he is instantly allowed to be a part of society again. Top job as King’s Messenger given back to him.
Cut to ‘Worry Men’ where we find out that Jervis has been released from Arkham legally. How easy it would have been for him to think ‘OH, I paid my debt to society, now things will be good again! I can move on.’ The thing is, that isn’t how the real world works. People judge based on your past– like in the US alone that are many jobs that don’t hire ex-felons or people with history of arrest from principle alone. Or the fact that he’s THE HATTER. Someone could easily recognize him and of course be worried because he’s a rogue. There is a stigma. And of course, not given a chance and instantly being alone and miserable once more…
WELL, of course it’s easy to give up trying and instead just want to cheat by taking as much money as he can and buying his own wonderland.
Just using context alone, you instantly make this character so much more interesting just through the fact you can RELATE to him. You feel BAD for him. Not to the point it makes his actions okay. But because you stop and go ‘Oh… I get it.’
