WOW this piece was a job.  I’ve been meaning to update my prices sheet for months and now, with a fresh new year ahead of us, I have finally got it finished!  I have a lot of options for different types of art available as shown above, and a variety of pricing options.  Because of past experience I’ve had to enforce some rules on certain types of art because of the amount of work I was putting into art that was not reflected in the prices.

Obviously if you have any questions about commissioning me you can always message me directly, and if you see a piece of art in my #my arts tag in a style you’d like to see your characters drawn in then ask me about it and I can give you a price depending on the character and complexity of the piece!

Turquoise was the winner of the February prompt over on Deviantart, and as a prize requested this piece of her character Mr Light! He is Turquoise’s take on Mr Dark before he went down the path of…well..darkness. A powerful wizard created by Polokus himself to defend the land against evil and nightmares who met a cruel fate at the hands of Jano. But for this piece we see him at his best, a handsome but somewhat overly confident hero wielding the power of the suns flames in his hands!

Had a lot of fun coming up with a dynamic pose for this fella, and playing with the fiery effects to give some dramatic lighting to the piece!

A retail Sarah & Duck game is apparently in the works! The source code for a build dated to 2024 was on one of the flash drives, and I managed to decrypt a sprite. Included was a string of text reading, "Do Not Acknowledge or Speak About This Game". Odd title, I'd say.

In the original broadcasts of early series Sarah & Duck, there was another side character named "Lilith" that sometimes showed up, akin to John, Plate Girl, or Scooter Boy. Strangely, despite having a proper name, she lacks a bird companion. She even lacks an item or other character quirk (like Scooter Boy's scooter or Plate Girl's plate). Doubly strangely, she is given an entry in the credits, but there is flat out no credited voice, only the character. In DVDs, rerun broadcasts, and iPlayer, her appearances and credits are completely wiped.

I remember Lilith's appearances. They unnerved me slightly. Not scare, but kinda just make me feel unease. Every shot featuring her in the background felt empty, like something should be there but it's not. Although, none of my other friends I've mentioned this to have had the same feeling. They look at me like I'm making things up, but something here is off.

A few pre-release concept documents revealed the original series finale, which instead involved Duck being able to speak English fluently. When asked by Sarah why he never spoke at all during their time together, Duck said he was "silenced for fear of speaking the truth."

Perhaps it's best that our webbed-footed friend only spoke in quacks.

A few of the filenames for character renders have their full, real, 103% actual factual names. Now we know!!!!!1!!!!!!!

A leaked pitch bible claims that the reason the Ribbon Sisters whisper so much is because they listen to terrible creepypasta readings on Youtube and they scream in fear for hours and thus wear out their voices. Additionally, Strawberry is most afraid of Smile Dog and Lemon is most afraid of Ben Drowned.
