Warriors’s burn scars are on his left arm
the one thing he has to rely on to protect himself
and scarring like that will *definitely* mess up your movement, even if you take really good care of it (if he keeps on top of it, he’ll still be able to function and fight, but there’ll always be some weird stiffness—saying this as someone with a few similar scars)
and it’s such a good contrast (and compliment) to Wild
Wild’s scarring is also (mostly) on his left side. But Wild is right handed. Was he that way before the Calamity? Maybe? Either way, he’s physically using a different side than Warriors, which is an awesome reflection of how they think and act so differently, despite the fact that Wild probably sees Wars as who he “should have been”
but if you’re facing down enemies side by side, who do you want next to you? Someone with the opposite hand dominance and fighting style than you so you can cover each other’s weaknesses
Wild is wild, creative, best at ranged attacks, driven
Warriors is precise, trained, good at melee attacks, driven
TL:DR: Wild and Warriors have *just* enough similarities and the right amount of differences to be an unstoppable force together if they’ll just talk about their feelings. This dungeon’s either going to give them that or drive them apart, and I love that I’m not sure which it’ll be
