the unabomber was pedantic about idiomatic phrases like "have your cake and eat it too" and rephrased it to "eat your cake and have it too" (which to be very fair makes sense). fast forward to when he starts writing manifestos. he uses the phrase word for word in his pedantic style and his brother (who has been keeping his eyes on the unabomber shit for obvious reasons) notices the phrase and is like "oh fuck that's my fucking brother no one else fucking says that" and calls in an FBI tip

We literally have a great trilogy about why cloning extinct animals is a bad idea

Even if this would go 100% well and safe for the animals, the implications of using these type of gene editing on humans - which will happen eventually - is bad.

We should journal and record what the pandemic hoax was really like...and I mean offline... because I have a feeling this is one the history books and digital world are going to intentionally forget about.

Like remember how they had stores where "for your safety" you were only allowed to buy products they deemed essential. Remember going into a store and sections were roped off and the fucking stores wouldn't let you buy certain things.

I remember going into a dollar store to buy emergency supplies but they were deemed non essential because they were in the camping/outdoor section. I remember that they had employees...regular ass people doing a minimum wage job walking around and harassing customers who were trying to buy anything but food or medicine. Because apparently if you buy food at the store covid wouldn't get you but if you bought a book you were sure to kill yourself and everyone around you. All this during a stage of this "pandemic" where nobody you knew had even heard of anyone who was sick...this was before the jabs came out and people really started "Dying of covid."

You could write a whole chapter about all the times some karen told you to put on a mask and you had to resist the urge to feed them theirs. And remember when they changed the meaning of karen midstream to apply to people who wanted to be left alone and not wear a mask instead of insane entitled people desperate for a sense of power over otherswho make unreasonable demands...like someone who approaches strangers to demand they cover their face so they feel less afraid.

I just remembered yesterday that local news stations were reporting about COVID under a segment called "FACTS NOT FEAR". And it was 100% fear mongering.

A friend of mine tried to buy a laptop charger because the one he was using while working remotely died and the employee wouldn't sell it to him because it was "non essential".

Family member was denied surgery to address chronic pain resulting from breaking her spine multipe times

Deaf and visually impaired family member was denied a family member to accompany her to pre-op appointments and the actual surgery resulting in her being unable to hear anything the surgical team said or read the documents she signed (no translator offered not that it would have helped no accessible documents given).

Family member wasn't allowed to see neurologist or get his prescription refilled without a doctors visit so he had seizures for the first time in 6 years

I couldn't get my thyroid meds refilled for the same reason, the immediate affects weren't as bad obviously but I had a flare of my joint pain for the first time since I started the meds

Friend died alone in a hospital with his wife facetiming in after he rejected an organ transplant.

That's just the medical stuff. If you want to get into the discrimination, verbal and physical abuse my family members and wider community members with disabilities experienced due to an inability to function with the the restrictions I could go all day

Saying all these things or pointing out how pointless it is(at the time) would get you removed from social media, or just straight shouted down as a science denier, anti-vaxxer or told you just want people to die.

And now talking about it to anyone in real life now will just get you dismissed with “what, you really still care about that? It was 3 years ago get over it!”
