in case you needed to hear it today:

  • it’s okay to use your turn signal when you’re changing lanes
  • it’s okay to use your turn signal when you’re taking an exit
  • it’s okay to use your turn signal when you plan on turning (can even be done sooner than 2 seconds before you’re about to turn)
  • you have a turn signal. in your vehicle. two of them in fact.
  • you are so brave and beautiful and smart and can do it. using your turn signal

Madeline Kahn as Mrs. White, Martin Mull as Colonel Mustard, Tim Curry as Wadsworth the butler, Christopher Lloyd as Professor Plum, and Colleen Camp as French maid Yvette (on the pool table) in the Paramount Pictures/Jonathan Lynn comedy mystery Clue, 1985. Madeline improvised this entire scene, which went on to became iconic.

i love when tragedies are like “the love was there. it didnt change anything. it didnt save anyone. there were just too many forces against it. but it still matters that the love was there”
