#If he's still scared of them that makes every scene where he uses their fear factor so funny#he's just silently freaking out putting them in a box for the bad guy to open to announce his presence#like he doesn't have to incorporate them but he does to be dramatic#anyway the new batgirl reminded me of this when Cass summoned a swarm of them for tactical advantage and mentioned her dad#he just teaches his kids about using live animals for dramatic effect#bruce wayne#batman#andromedas poll hell#batfam#batfamily#dc comics#dcu#dc universe

okay it's actually really funny, they're making age of imprisonment canonical WHICH MEANS link isn't going to be in it unless there is some weird totk pov change or limited to just cutscenes or something but generally, it can be assumed that Zelda is the main character totally and completely. Like even in eow Link was there kind of, but this one, he literally is thousands of years away and if they want it to be canon, they can't bring him in. i am interested in how this will work

What if we get to play as dragon Zelda… like the battle from the end of totk but you get to be the dragon attacking another dragon and link is just a fly on your head

they really are going to make me pay 500$ for a new system bc they refuse to release the new games on the switch...

#i was really hoping i could ignore the switch 2 and just get aoi for my current system but uh... it's exclusive to the switch 2...#but also theres all that stuff for botw and totk and the expantion packs are free with nso which i already pay for...#i really don't care for all the new features but ughhhh new game and extra zelda features...#i will consider my finances...

Jason and Bruce are out late one night in Gotham as civilians. They get cornered by a mugger and Jason nearly pisses himself, he’s so amused. He teases the would-be mugger about their hand placement, even tries to goad the mugger into a fight because he’s Red Hood. He can disarm anyone in seconds. It doesn’t matter if you have a gun — he has two.

He’s Red Hood, and he has the literal Bat of Gotham standing behind him like a wall of muscle. They’re as close to invincible as humans get, in this town. And that kind of confidence scares off their would-be mugger.

But then Jason turns around, a smile stretching across his face, and Bruce is white. Bone white and so so quiet, eyes wide and trained on where the mugger had been standing.

#I like it when the effects of the trauma is visible#no tough guy act#because it is severely different from when he goes out at night in costume and seeks out situations#maybe he’s that little kid who freezes and feels so guilty for freezing despite Jason clearly having it handled#or maybe he reacts so fast bc he’s had nightmares of the situation for decades and has so many escape plans for this exact scenario#or it doesn’t matter how much he’s thought about doing better he still ends of freezing in terror#he’s been trained to move through fear but that doesn’t matter in this specific situation#and Jason has to turn around and tell his big scary og vigilante of a father to breathe

Having Bruce meet his younger self is such a power move and also so fucking dickhead of every writer who ever does it because-

That is a child. Bruce can’t with children. He cant- he cant be cruel he can’t not reach out and try to comfort

But thats also him. Its him goddamn it and that well of self-hatred goes deep. 

Its him but its a young him, a grieving him, and goddamn it he can’t see a child in pain, and damn he reminds him of Dick and now he’s hugging his younger self but also he’s repulsed and can’t and 

Arghhh its so hard for me to articulate but but but you see what i mean right???😭 please tell me someone understands…

#literally no one hates Bruce more than he hates himself even with all the villains out there#I am also of the opinion that Batman early on was inevitably a suicide mission#he never meant to drag anyone with him and by the time dick comes along he has to reconsider the whole thing and be more careful about it#and then he gets so much worse when Jason dies#I like it when there’s a degree of separation#like one of the kids meets a younger version of him and really start to get why he’s Like That#meanwhile in the background Bruce is feeling real conflicted about the whole thing#maybe he will learn that even he deserves compassion not only as a child but as he is now#he’s real stubborn about it though
