Another year, another Hermit-a-Day May! I'm so thrilled to be able to bring this event to you all for the third year in a row.

THE RULES: 1. Any type of fanwork is welcome so long as it features, or is otherwise inspired by, the Hermit of the day. 2. Tag #hermitaday to have your fanwork reblogged, or submit it directly to the blog (Please note that while we recognize the value of fanworks involving more mature themes, and they can certainly count toward challenge completion if you're keeping track for yourself, content on this blog will be kept "PG-13" so that all may enjoy.). 3. Because I'm working on Cupid's design rn I want to rant to you guys about my headcanon for Cupid's species.

As we all know she's the adopted daughter of Eros, but her species was never specified. But in my head (and in HEAH) she is a Siren.

It's quite simple really but I'm gonna explain anyway.

She is from the mythological ancient Greece as her father is Eros, god of love. Since he adopted her, we're looking for some sort of monster that can be found in the Greek mythos.

Cupid also has love/charm related powers of her own through her speech (which she uses for good which is great). And she has wings. So

Wings, charming voice powers, monster from the Greek mythology... Yeah that's a siren

I love how adopted children can still be heirs to their parents legacy, that's really neat

Edit: for those of you saying "she's a bone elemental" a) that was an in-universe theory that Ghulia wrote in her journal, not confirmed b) what does that even mean c) idc idc she's a siren to meeeee

Hey I'm alive and back on track with HEAH!

I decided since Happily Ever After High will happen during their senior year, all the characters need some new clothes. So that's what I'll be doing in the nearest future in between writing, designing new base outfits for them :3

And yes, Maddie and Raven got their piercings done together :P
