There’s something very funny about the fact that an old hyperfixation can just suddenly emerge from the depths and smack you in the face for a day or two before going away again. Like it’s kind of fucked up that that can happen but in a fun way.

Anyway, in other news I’m up thinking about Zolf Smith and Oscar Wilde again.

Tornado

I want every non-Midwesterner to know that we are drilled in tornado safety from a young age and know exactly what we should do to keep ourselves safe. And yet we do exactly as pictured in the bottom image every time a tornado comes around.

I think it's incredibly important here to not overlook the fact that she is a Black woman. Transphobia, racism, and sexism overlap significantly because of the incredibly eurocentric beauty standards women are judged on.
