can I be very stereotypically autistic on main and say that this is SUCH a batshit but beautiful design for a train

I had already made a post about the motor carriages years ago but now that we have this design too I gotta talk about it. like the use of the mechanics that is being put on display is so funny. they really said "oh yeah we know how old trains work but now, I need you to think WHEEL" and you're like yeah they have wheels and they're like "no think of a BIG WHEEL (there will also be normal wheels)" and you ask why and they go "SHUT UP!!!!"

what the fuckin tracks must look like

I don't sweat the details. Because I can't remember them.

yknow the vehicles in Disco Elysium are called motor CARRIAGES for a reason. like if you look at them, they are literally just horse-drawn carriages that have been converted to hold an engine. the steering levers, the body of them, the lack of stuff that you'd see in a car in our world- this is one of those things where you can see how this was a fantasy campaign converted to a different setting.

like...

you see it right? only added to by the fact that they make such a big deal about how expensive motor carriages are and that the RCM still primarily uses horses or bikes- that they're still sorta phasing that out.

It's absolutely vital that he just weirdly glides around and shuts the door in your face the exact same way even though everyone else is animated normally
