Flidais's first memory is waking up on the side of the road in Western Thanalan, just north of the Silver Bazaar. No idea where she was, she made her way into the city where she was directed to the Adventurer's Guild. With no memories and nothing better to do she became an adventurer, her aptitude for Thaumatergy becoming rapidly apparent. It wasn't long before she ran into the Scions and was invited to join them, there she met her first love K'Shai. A Miqo'te Sunseeker Pugilist. Adventuring together, they became fast friends and lovers, eventually getting engaged. Despite not finding any clues to her home, to her past, she was happy. While she did not possess the Echo some others had, it became apparent there was something about her that was odd, as on top of the scent of the Void that followed her, she was immune to primal's tempering. It was due to this she was sent to combat Titan. Away fighting the primal, she was not there when the attack at the Waking Sands happened. She was not there when she lost K'shai. Losing the woman she loved sent Flidias on a spiraling rage fueled quest of revenge, of which both allies and enemies still speak of in hushed tones.
During her work with the Scions, and attemping to free Ala Mhigo she lost a battle with Garlean soldiers, a blade to her throat nearly taking her life. Wounds were later exacerbated with the presence of light corruption. Wounds which eventually took her voice, and her ability to cast Black Magic. She took quickly to learning to wield an axe, to defending her allies and loved ones, Her attempts to learn other combat styles eventually led her to the Reaper arts, through which she was reunited with her long lost 'twin' which let her know she had been a researcher into voidsent summoning and a lab accident caused her to be sucked into the Void. Trapped there for about 50 years, her body was forever changed. while there she managed a powerful spell, escaping and arriving in Eorzea.
