a while ago, i watched little shop of horrors, which of course got me thinking about carnivorous plants. this one is maybe a little less of a world-conqueror than audrey, but who knows. definitely wants a bite of your sandwich, and maybe of your finger.

So a local person had their Coral Reef / Whale Island rabbit up for sale and I couldn't help myself. I've wanted her for so long and I'm so excited to have her now!
I named the toothy bb Zähne (German word for teeth) since I'm going to make her a wolpertinger inspired creature and they're part of Germanic folklore!
Slow morning tea time with Kiri and one of my favorite teapots. She still thinks that this teapot is too big so I'll have to find her something even smaller! 😅 Today's tea is an aged red Shan Lin Xi from Taiwan.

AHHH SHE'S HERE!!!! I really wanted to get a Cocoriang during the NYC Doll Con but I didn't get a chance to shop on day one at all and by day two, all the ones I really wanted had sold (unsurprisingly). But I did join the super lovely creature companion bjd discord and learned about Buyee and OH BOY was that not good for my wallet lol. Mostly because of this little cutie! Kumukuku is the artist behind a lot of the sculpts at Cocoriang but she also has her own line of dolls too! I still would love to get a Cocoriang Niya and Tobi at some point but I'm really happy to have this sweet little fox home for now! I've given her temporary eyes but I think I might re-blush her so she reads more purple. In a lot of the photos, her color just vanishes. Plus I think it would be fun to do some more whimsical blushing like some of the LE kumukukus and cocoriangs!
Now to think of a good name....
Helping at Work Lito came to work at the library today and is helping pack some book to go out to patrons on other campuses!

at some point last year my partner asked me to make them a little mouse bjd. i also printed a copy for myself, but only got around to painting it recently. i made it match my little bird, and am just now remembering i was supposed to photograph them together. maybe in the future.

A little princess
I took pictures of her outside in the sun
My little sun crow 💕 She's an art doll made of polymer clay and her wings are felt, crafr foam, and the pinion feathers are individually wired and attached to her armature so they can be opened and closed and posed.
She has a twin brother who is a black sun crow :))
