So i was rewatching dead poets society and i noticed that in this shot

we see the gun laying there with neil's left hand so it implies the gun was in his left hand, but neil is right handed so why would he take the gun in his left hand that doesn't make sense but then i remembered this deleted scene

where the poets all eat with their left hand because they wanted to get rid of old habits. This doesn't need to be connected but I can't think of a different reason

thinking about anderperry and i fear that if it had been openly canon, cameron's reaction would have been one of those "ignorant homophobic" ones. I don't mean that with hate towards cameron, i believe that (like he did when they were caught with the whole dead poets society thing) he would've genuinely thought he was helping them. i think he would've reported them to one of the teachers so that they could be "cured" or something, all while thinking he was doing the right thing to help his friends

i WISH we got to see at least one session of Wilson in therapy. i need to see this repressed freak analysing his own life in front of a therapist (and also trying to explain his relationship with House to someone who has no idea who he is)

maybe a late or obvious realisation about dps but todd’s insistence that he can “take care of himself just fine” is probably just a reiteration of what he’s been forced or told to do his whole life- he’s never had anyone to look out for him or care for him. he is fine. he doesn’t need anyone. its fine his parents don’t pay him any attention because he doesn’t need it. he can take care of himself. and when neil brashly and firmly says “no, you cant” todd is just. what? because he doesnt understand why neil would WANT to care about todd. todd’s not worth anything- todd doesn’t need to be cared about. his quiet decline is an invitation to neil to leave him alone guilt free. he cant fathom why someone would want to care about him if he doesnt need it. why someone would lend him any part of themselves out of anything but basic human kindness. and when he refutes this human kindness (its ok. im functioning- you dont need to care about me) neils gentle “no” (but i want to i want to) shatters todds whole mindset. it makes me want to vomit basically.
