i didn’t write about her in this ficlet for Reasons but sayu's side of the postcanon deh matsusayu au is no less of a nightmare. ide is correct that she has already figured out matsuda isn’t attracted to her (at least not romantically) and in fact she isn’t attracted to matsuda either she is doing this out of

  1. fucked up self harm instinct due to The Guilt (if she hadn’t been kidnapped mello wouldn’t have gotten the notebook and her father would still be alive and if her father was still alive maybe light would still be alive too)
  2. attempt to prove to herself she has Recovered and is capable of doing “normal” things like kissing boys
  3. subconscious urge to get revenge on her dad by dating a cop (because he always warned her against it and she doesn’t realize it but she’s kind of furious at him for never being home and for saying that saving her, sayu, made him a “failure as a police officer”)
  4. mix of genuine gratitude for matsuda being the first person to ever tell her (what she thinks is) the truth about her brother rather than treating her like glass, AND an attempt to get him to shut the fuck up and stop poetically describing light dying in front of his eyes

the ones I thought would flop the hardest for being self indulgent were the ones that people loved the most. this fic, Man on the Moon (Gojo/Geto from JJK) really had some sweet comments that i still think about to this day. <3

The way I was able to recognize several anons in one of my inboxes bc of this error. Oh my god. Guys. This isn’t supposed to happen.

Weighing in to say:

YES, I SEE THIS ON MOBILE. HOWEVER I DO **NOT** THINK IT'S SHOWING THE ANON'S REAL IDENTITY.

The profile pictures I see next to anon asks are profile pictures that belong to other, non-anon asks in my ask box also. Some info

  • there are 14 asks in my inbox from the last ~5 days
  • 9 anons, 5 logged in users
  • ALL 14 show pfps, including the 9 anons
  • ALL THE SHOWN PROFILE PICTURES BELONG TO THE 5 LOGGED IN USERS

I think the bug is the inbox INCORRECTLY attributing anons to neighboring, logged-in asks.

Which is still a bad bug! Considering it makes it look like a long-time follower of mine sent me a spam ask.

And is worse if, say, one of these was anon hate.

But it's NOT the anon's real identity. It's a neighboring ask asker's identity

So if you have anon hate in your inbox that looks like it's attributed to your dear friend, who sends you lovely asks all the time, it was Not them.

Light wouldn’t have sacrificed Soichiro to preserve the 13 day rule. He is willing to have the Death Note burn up in a fire and lose his memories of being Kira forever in the event that his family finds it.

He gives up the notebook for Sayu’s life which Ohba himself makes it very clear that Light wouldn’t do the same if it were Misa who was kidnapped. He consistently draws the line at his family. Committing patricide to save his own skin is just the one thing that’s out of character for him.

Haruhi fujioka really is the character ever. Going by any pronouns in 2006. Big beautiful brown eyes like a baby cow. Constant deadpan delivery. Getting bitches constantly. Reacts to romantic advances with a thousand-yard goldfish stare. Perfect flawless protagonist 10/10

Guys, we've talked about this.

You need to give your domesticated wading ghosts larger death pools. I understand if you can't find a real Well, but you need an enclosure at least 5 times the size of the spirit itself.

Thank you for the PSA, and it’s certainly good advice! I am happy to report that in this particular photoset we’re looking at a temporary holding tank, possibly being used to keep a lab employee safe during a routine water test. There is a strict no-shared-space policy for outside contractors at reputable spirit preserves, both to keep the ghost from becoming frustrated at its inability to approach what it perceives as prey, and to ensure the safety of outside parties. Training sessions focusing heavily on positive reinforcement are used to get the ghost accustomed to the holding tank as well as short trips between the pond and an appropriate secured location. Many health checks and enrichment activities can be conducted directly at the water source, but sometimes a more controlled environment is required. Please be assured that the ghost in the photographs is doing ‘well’. ☆⌒( ＾ ▽ ゜)
