Day 2 - Feelings [Yearning]
I've always had a headcanon that there would be times in the Mushroom Planet days where Rob would just either hallucinate or fantasize about being able to show affection towards Stone, but he's both touch-starved and touch-repulsed so the closest he can get to doing so is by holding Rock Stone and just pretending...

Some art for a fic I plan on writing 😭 an alternative universe where robotnik survives after sonic movie 3 and him and Stone decide to hide out somewhere in the Midwest of the United States in a camper. Robotnik had a “secret lab” (stone helped build it but pretends he doesn’t know about it to make the Doctor happy) and one day Stone runs into an Ai program called Sage within this lab. He doesn’t tell Robotnik he knows of this creation, but he talks with Sage everyday as she tries to comes to terms with her developing humanity and why the doctor has made her, let alone allowed her to feel. Later on they give her a physical body, and shenanigans ensue.
Oh also Stone calls Sage “pebble.” As a nickname
