Oh, this man deserves another medal just for being so fcking polite with her, even after being repeatedly treated like he's the biggest of all failures.

I didn't know that what I needed from this confrontation was Eddie waltzing in with a smile and waltzing right back out with a patronizing kiss to his mom's forehead, but I wouldn't trade this confident thing of beauty for all the cathartic shouting matches in the world.
