It’s dangerous to go alone, take this 🐰

It’s going to be available this Saturday, April 5th :) join the email list for updates 🐇

drawings from paleo expedition to dagestan, done right on the trip. sometimes messy when it was cold and rainy, but i won't correct it. i think it's cool to leave it just the way it was done, and not retouch it after. there will be more drawings later, but those will be done from home

HEY, FELLOW HATERS OF INSANELY-BRIGHT CAR HEADLIGHTS, SOMEONE HAS STARTED A PETITION TO REGULATE THEM.

It's an official petition through the Australian Government's e-petition page, which means if it gets enough signatures, it will be tabled in government.

You do have to be an Australian citizen to sign it, BUT!!! PLEASE REBLOG THIS EVEN IF YOURE NOT, because these kind of things have a roll-on effect, and if Australia legislates LED headlights, then other countries may follow.

FYI, the petition asks only for your name and email, and once you've clicked the sign button, they'll send you an email to confirm your signature --- you need to click the confirmation link in the email to have your signature counted.

There is a photographer in our town that works for a local news feed just for our town (which I'm 90% sure is volunteer run) and I see him sometimes at things. He usually covers the town halls, school board meetings, he was taking photos at Juneteenth last year. Basically he's everywhere and I'm also everywhere, so we cross paths often.

But he also does a thing called 'My Final Photo,' which is just random day to day stuff happening in town that he thinks is cool enough to snap a photo of. Like... ongoing construction of the new buildings, when the crocuses come out, a bird landing on a lamppost. Stuff like that. He's a really talented photographer.

The Final Photo for yesterday was kind of awesome but I don't think he knows how much the caption contributed:

Because that is both

a. sick as hell

b. perfect encapsulation of the childhood experience.

if u love glasswork look up carlo nason's murano glass chandeliers from the 50s-70s and just scroll thru the photos of lovely rippled hand blown glass diffusing light until your mind goes quiet

dreamy sigh...

no cruel jokes or pranks this April 1st we should instead celebrate the better April 1 holiday

What is the better April first holiday and what does this saucy little scamp have to do with it

I can't find an article in English but essentially in France it is a common children's prank to on April Fool's put little paper fish on people's backs and it's called "poisson d'Avril" (April Fish). when i was in school in our french classes we would hide paper fish around the school as well and i took great joy in wedging mine in deeply impractical places that im honestly not sure were ever found. looking at it now, my French teachers had billed it as a Whole Separate Holiday but it actually seems more to be like a cultural in-joke/France-Specific April Fool's Prank lol whoops

regardless I like it better than some of the more mean spirited stuff I've seen associated with American April Fool's day

can't be mad at someone just taping one of these lil guys to your back right !

i love this thank you

“kind of dating” but not as in a situationship or talking stage but in that your relationship is unique to you and transcends the boundaries of being friends and being in a romantic relationship in a way that is much too complicated to explain to someone without discussing it for at least half an hour and we don’t have that kind of time because you were just casually asking who they are to me

i dont care if mondays rife, tuesday qednesday full of strife, thursday fuck my baka life, its friday im in sucks

happy thursday fuck my baka life, thank you for this post op i had this stuck in my head for days so i embroidered it

We sharing anaesthetic stories?? I had to have dental surgery when i was in middle school.

According to my mom and sister the very first thing i did upon waking up was BOLT upright and proceed to try and shove my ENTIRE fist in my mouth as fast as possible.

I had to be physically stopped, and i proceeded to sob my eyes out for the next 20 minutes. Somehow, i didnt damage anything 🤣

“It is extraordinary that nobody nowadays under the stress of great troubles is turned into stone or a bird or a tree or some inanimate object; they used to undergo such metamorphoses in ancient times (or so they say), though whether that is myth or a true story I know not. Maybe it would be better to change one’s nature into something that lacks all feeling, rather than be so sensitive to evil. Had that been possible, these calamities would in all probability have turned me to stone.”
