ooc: got some great questions about Lily from @dramatic-delirium !
1: Lily is based on myself, including all my likes and dislikes. I absolutely love cooking and baking, especially making food for the people I care about, so I gave her that trait too!
2: She's from a dimension that's kind of a combination of comic Miguel's and what we've seen of Earth 928B. She was married to her dimension's Miguel and ended up being kidnapped and experimented on by Alchemax with the expectation that she'd die like all the other test subjects, but she survived and developed powers instead. She chose to become a hero in an attempt to take down Alchemax and prevent anyone else from being hurt the way she was. Tyler Stone (Alchemax CEO and Miguel's bio dad in the comics, though not his dad in this dimension) didn't like that he was losing control of his company, and he ESPECIALLY didn't like that he was losing control of Miguel, since Lily's influence helped him to stand up to Stone. Stone hired as many villains/hitmen as he could to keep Lily occupied, then went to the O'Hara home and shot Miguel. He called off the attack, sent a message to Lily solely so she could watch her husband die, then left. After Miguel died, Lily got help from Miguel's brother Gabriel to hack into Alchemax, transfer ownership of it all to her, and then take over the company so she could turn it into a force for good. After that she basically shut down emotionally and Gabri tried to push her to go to therapy, and her spider side went NUTS. She almost killed him, but 928B Miguel showed up to recruit her and seeing his face brought her out of it. She went right to hq (which was much smaller then) and avoided her dimension for a while because she was afraid to face Gabri. Miguel confronted her and convinced her to talk to him and they worked things out, after which she spent time going between dimensions. That happened not long before the rp stuff, so everything else you could PROBABLY find and read
3: Lily actually listens to a lot of classic rock, as well as soundtracks from games, shows, movies, etc. I haven't made a playlist though
4: She tends to be energetic (it's the ADHD lol), and hates seeing people she loves hurt, both physically and emotionally, so she has a habit of trying to take care of people without warning. She'll make them food, offer them a place to stay, give them clothes, etc. She gets along with people easily, and you know she likes you if she gives you a nickname! As for what annoys her, a big one is people refusing to take care of themselves. Another is ableists, seeing as she's very neurodivergent
5: She does like cuddles, she's very big on physical contact, but she doesn't really like it from people she isn't close with. So it would take a while for her to get to the point of cuddling your character! However, she will very likely start playing with their hair when she's around them without realizing
Adding to the backstory, she actually knew Gabri before Miguel, Gabri was the one who introduced them! Miguel lost a bet to Gabriel, and Gabri's winning terms were to make Miguel get a piercing of Gabri's choosing. Gabri was a semi-regular at the tattoo shop Lily worked at, so he took Miguel there (partially because he very much thought Lily and Miguel would like each other). Migs got an eyebrow piercing and Lily gained a new friend! He kept coming back because he wanted to see her, but he was way too nervous to actually ask her out until Gabri stepped in and made him confess. They started dating and eventually got married, with Gabri as Miguel's best man. They got matching tattoos after the wedding (a little spider lily, Miguel's favorite flower, on opposite wrists so they'd touch when they hold hands). Gabriel himself got married about a year after Lily and Miguel, and he's still happily married and living with his wife in the home Lily and Miguel had bought before Migs died. It's SUPER secure cause she doesn't want to risk anything happening to them (or their newborn baby). Lily tried VERY hard to avoid Spider Miguel, but becoming friends with him actually helped her cope with her Miguel's death. Bowe wasn't in the picture before the rp, but I absolutely ADORE him so I'm saying he's part of her non rp canon too
Also! She has a variant who's VERY evil and kidnapped Isa and Lupe not long after they were born (with help from her own Miguel variant, who is a Doc Ock variant). I came up with that variant because I wanted to play with the idea of what would happen if Lily lost her kids. The variant lost her own baby and, when she found out Lily had two, she basically got it in her head that the twins belong to her and Lily is a fake mother, so she kidnapped them
