It’s a quiet late afternoon at the manor, most of the residents busy entertaining themselves or each other. The door to Bruce’s study is slightly ajar, minutely pushed open a bit more as a presence enter the room.

Bruce is nose deep in his computer, writing notes and doing work. Bruce Wayne work, not Batman work. Signing contracts sucks in his opinion. He immediately noticed the presence but doesn’t turn, thinking someone’s just coming to grab something.
Nothing changes for a moment before there’s the soft sound of something landing on the desk, and a small white head covered in fur peaks curiously around the side of computer.
Bruce looks up and sees a small white kitten on his desk. “Well hi there.” he smiles softly and scratches the ears of the kitten.
The kitten pushes their head into his hand more and closes their eyes.
bruce picks up the kitten with one arm and puts it in his lap as he pets it and continues work.
