We’re a server for adults who are mentally ill creatives of any kind - digital art, painters, sewing, crochet, musicians, ceramics, chefs/bakers and more! You don’t need to be a pro to join, we’re happy to welcome any skill level! We also welcome anyone else mentally ill who loves to support creators and will help hype up the creatives in the server.

What we offer:

- A safe environment for all mentally ill people who are 18+

- A role locked space for NSFW art and chat.

- A safe space for marginalised people (no bigotry tolerated)

- PluralKit for systems

- A mostly static blacklist

- Monthly prompt themes to help give you inspiration

- Random events to share your work or create something new

- Group digital canvases posted on a semi regular basis

- Needle bot that creates threads in creative share channels so that no one’s work gets overlooked

- No AI or NFTs allowed

Lots of thoughts recently. Everything feels plastic.

I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.

Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

from my sources adjacent to tumblr--from which i can spread rumors and insider information freely because i dont give a fuck about ever working in the tech sector--im hearing this round of firings was focused on purging the senior staff, and not just from support but from the entire remaining tumblr workforce. i'm hearing there are about 25 people left.
