Saw a cis (I think) woman talking about how cis women need trans women because if trans women don’t exist then being a woman isn’t a choice and is instead just something you’re consigned to for life.

I’ve been thinking about it all day because I agree but I feel like there’s more to it than that.

Trans men. Trans men are the other half of the equation. In order for womanhood to be a choice, you need people who choose it and people who choose to leave it.

If trans men aren’t part of it then womanhood is something you can become but never leave. So shout out tboys I guess. (For the record this is reductive, I’m ignoring intersex people and enbies.)

Nonbinary people existing is important, because they show that "womanhood" isn't just the dump pit for people who didn't want to be men, and that "manhood" isn't likewise just the dump pit for people who didn't want to be women - that the people choosing to use the words "man" and "manhood" and likewise "woman/womanhood" for themselves are choosing them for the love of the game, not for lack of other options.

hey everyone, thanks for supporting me so far! again, the car renovation is going well. i've built some storage and now just need to figure out the sink and plumbing to make it all functional. i'll probably make a video update soon and upload it to my youtube channel.

as of today, i'm completely broke. i've been able to save some money by eating a lot of ramen and mac n cheese, but a lot of money has been spent on the materials for this renovation too.
