Harry Goodsir edit — “All I Need”

This edit was partly inspired by this amazing meta/article by @veganthranduil. Since I read it I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it and Goodsir’s, as well as the audience’s, complicity in the narrative of imperialism through the embracing of “liberal” values. Highly recommend you go read as well if you haven’t already.

Also made this because the Silna/Goodsir relationship is one that is so complex and loaded, it’s one of my favorites in the whole show. I think there is genuine affection and friendship and perhaps even love, but ultimately it’s a bond that has been tainted from the beginning. No happy beginnings and no happy endings.
