#different answer: universally no???#are there any examples in the series of two gay people being married by the orlesian chantry#like in tresspasser when you marry sera there's explicitly not a chantry sister there#while if you marry cullen there is a chantry sister there#i'm just remembering the codex you get in the hinterlands about how gay nobles are 'accepted'#so long as they get heterosexual married. and then they can have their true love/sex life however they want it as long as they provide heir#i think if you meet a married gay couple in the south it was not through an official ceremony by the chantry

dai was insane because they wrote all of that banter (like 5 hours worth of it if i remember right?) and put so much character relevance and development and plot importance in it and then it came out and you were lucky if you got 10 conversations in a single 100 hour playthrough. and they just left it like that .

friendly reminder that in dragon age inquisition you do not need a rogue to unlock locked doors that do not require the deft hands perk. any warrior with shield bash or mighty blow can do that. just hit the door with it. i think rift mages with stonefist also, idk if any other spells work. iron bull & solas are basically rogues if you’re not a coward.

#dai#it's like in dao and da2 rogues were unionized (basically required to have one in every party)#and then in dai warriors and mages became picket line crossing scabs and you don't need rogues at all
