i don't like the fact that grizzly said that modify memory is a powerful spell + him saying "if that's what you remember, then yeah" to bizly asking if he'd remember being on the ship during the storm + the voices in the hole saying "welcome home" + chip never mentioning / possibly not remembering what came before meeting Arlin. don't like it.

can’t believe I have to say this but it’s completely okay to question your own sexuality as an adult. you don’t have to have every single thing in your life figured out before you turn 18 babe. those socially deadlines are not real. there’s actually no such thing as deadline for learning new things about yourself as long as you’re alive

so we have one of two options regarding how they'll handle gay people in Tomodachi Life 2/Living the Dream (operating under the assumption they ARE in fact going to keep their promise and have gay people in this game):

option 1. toggleable switch. you can choose if your Mii is gay or not. simple, but effective. homophobes are going to complain about it but they're inevitably going to complain regardless of how they handle gay people so

option 2. the funnier option, and honestly the one I think they're going to go with just based on the track record of the Mii games (specifically Miitopia) - there is no toggle. everyone is bisexual. you can and Will have a random Mii on your island suddenly turn out to be gay and there's nothing you can do about it

i will never forgive frameratebros and critics and all those reddit guys who complained and complained about the switchs visuals

we had a portable console that could run breath of the wild and guilty gear strive and DOOM and persona 5 like a champ and almost everything on the console was $60 and it was cheaper than the competition and it was wonderful and well done

but nooooobody online would accept it, they just complained about "oh nintendos so far behind the switch is so broken and cant run anythiiing" blah blah blah

THERE YOU GO NOW the games are absolutely beautiful and now theyre $80. are you happy. $450 console with $80 games. you got your precious framerates are you HAPPY now

i wouldve loved a world where they just keep on with the switch 1 and every game was like pokemon legends arceus and fire emblem three houses where they dont give a care for graphics but focus on making actual fun passionate heart filled games

but NOOOO you gotta make sure the trees are more detailed than the sistine chapel and the game runs at 5000 poopfarts per hour

i cant even tell the difference between the upgraded botw and switch 1 one. what was the internet complaining so much about this looks the exact same come on

critics have killed gaming, the internets obsession with visuals have ruined everything, fun is no longer the focus of games and everything is almost $100. thank you very much :/

Reminder that the 3DS used to cost $250 at launch. When Nintendo noticed it didn't sell, they lowered the price to $150. And it stayed that way.

Do the same. Don't buy the Switch 2 day one. They'll lower the price if it doesn't sell.

$450 for a console is too much. (And don't get me started with the Canadian price. $630 oof.) Use Dolphin for GameCube games on PC. And there are tons of good game on the original Switch. Trust me, you will never get bored of that console.

Hey guys, can we talk about how the switch 2 is 450 dollars? How games are gonna cost 80 dollars on it? How pro controllers are gonna cost 80 dollars, and joycons 90? Can we please talk about how fucked up this is?

We genuinely shouldn't let Nintendo do this, we as the consumers have the right to fair prices. We need to remind Nintendo that their games and consoles are not things people need and putting such high prices on them is fucking stupid.

Game announcements aside.

Utterly insane prices. Needing to buy a new (and more expensive!) SD card because the old one is not compatible. Paywalling the ability to have your games upgraded for the Switch 2, on a per-game basis. Having to pay extra for physical games, with some physical games NOT EVEN BEING ON THE CART (with the game being used as a license check, and then needing to be downloaded)...

And on top of all of that, all UI is the exact fucking same, still no eShop music, and complete silence on themes.

Nintendo more or less ported an entire fucking console. I hate to be negative but what a letdown.
