Yoru was a prince, that word felt like a stab to the heart….was…he no longer held that title and it made his heart break in two. His family had been dethroned and he was banished, he had fought back and something went entirely wrong, he couldn't figure out where he was, it was a strange place full of giants, not the giants he was used to but giants with weird clothing and the buildings looked odd and the smells everywhere reeked of chemicals. He could hardly fly he was weak his wings struggled to lift him, and he had no clothes as they disintegrated in the journey between realms. His body had scrapes and bruises from the rough landing and he was worried he'd starve or freeze to death but luckily he would either be killed by a giant footstep or an animal ripping him limb from limb and his pain would end soon. Delirious from hunger he finally managed to fly and quickly headed in the direction that gave off the best smells he had smelled the entire time he was in this realm, it was warm and meaty and made his mouth water but he couldn't find the source and this enraged him. He sighed heavily and found a place to sit on the windowsill of a random building, he felt warmth from the window and it was enough to keep him from freezing to death, he eventually leaned against the side and closed his eyes "May death be kinder than this realm could ever be.." he mumbled to himself.
"My name is Yoru.." he sighed "we didn't deserve to be dethroned...our job was to protect our kind...these people were bad...I fought back because I was angry, and it led to me ending up here" he clenched his fists and slowly sipped the broth, it tasted so good and felt so nice and warm in his chest. He sighed softly "I think my ribs are bruised...I don't think anything is broken though..." he glances up "Humans are cruel...they often kill my kind...I'm surprised you would help me.." he continued to consume the broth as he was fed, he then glanced around the room again "You don't look like someone who would normally be this nice...at first glance I was actually quite scared.." he hated to admit he had been afraid of him at first but it was the truth, the man seemed intimidating and had a dark aura to him that Yoru could sense pretty easily. After he consumed about half the bowl of broth he was satisfied and lays back down "Thank you for the meal...first thing I've consumed in so long..." he finally was looking better, his lips had some color to them and his pale skin wasn't as sickly and his body temperature finally going up.
Youngsoo listened in silence, eyes never leaving Yoru. There was pain behind it. Pride, too, buried beneath the defeat. "You didn’t deserve what happened," Youngsoo said quietly, voice low and certain. "Protecting your people should never cost you everything. But the world doesn’t always reward the ones who do the right thing." His tone turned bitter at the edges—spoken like someone who knew the truth of that far too well. He watched as Yoru slowly sipped the broth, his hands still trembling slightly but his breathing finally steadying. It gave Youngsoo the smallest sense of relief. He hadn’t even realized how tense his shoulders had been. At the mention of his ribs, Youngsoo gave a slow nod. “You’re lucky. No fractures that I can tell, but you're not moving much for a while. I’ll help you wrap the bruises when you’ve rested.”Then came the part Youngsoo expected but still hated to hear—“Humans are cruel.” That truth had been passed down through realms, and he couldn’t deny it. His eyes dropped for a moment, his hands still as he held the spoon. “You’re not wrong,” he said quietly. “Most of them would’ve seen you as a threat. Or a target.” Yoru’s next words caught him off guard, “You don’t look like someone who would normally be this nice.” Youngsoo let out a breath that was almost a laugh, dry and short. “Yeah… you’re not wrong about that either.” He met Yoru’s eyes. “I’m not a good man, Yoru. I’ve done things I’m not proud of to survive. But when I saw you out there, barely breathing… that wasn’t something I could walk away from. Not again.” He gently set the bowl aside as Yoru laid back down, the color slowly returning to his face. For the first time since bringing him in, Youngsoo allowed himself to lean back and exhale. “You’re stronger than you think. Even after everything… you’re still here.” He stood slowly, watching the small figure nestled in the bed. “Rest. I’ll be nearby if you need anything.” A pause. Then, more softly than before: “You’re not alone anymore.”
"I may not have as much as before but there is magic in these little bones...so I can handle more than one would think for someone my size" he sits up slowly "Can we...can we wrap my ribs now? The pain...it's bad..plus..I need something to wear...I've been naked a while now and I'm not fond of it. Even if we just cover my uh...bits" he motions to his lower region. He's quiet for a moment while thinking "What does this realm have in terms of pain remedies? I would need a very small amount....like tiny...but maybe it could help" he tries to stand and even stupider tries to use his wings but he didn't lift up far before landing back on the bed. He sighed heavily and shook his head "I don't think I can fly until my ribs heal...not sure how it's connected but it hurts" he laughed softly since he knew the two had no correlation. Since the bed was so big he moved to lie down on the pillow instead. It was far more comfortable and felt like a bed his size at least almost. And for a blanket something the size of a washcloth would be nearly the right size but that wouldn't be soft enough. After a bit of just lying on his back staring up at the ceiling, he glanced over "You didn't tell me your name.."
Youngsoo gave Yoru a pointed look as he shifted again, clearly still uncomfortable. “I’m not used to taking care of anyone—especially not Fae. So just… relax, okay?” He muttered under his breath, grabbing the first aid kit and getting to work. His touch was surprisingly gentle as he wrapped the gauze around Yoru’s bruised ribs, trying to keep his movements steady despite the curiosity gnawing at him. “This should help with the pain. And I’ve got a balm that’ll take the edge off. No magic, but it works.” When Yoru mentioned needing clothes, Youngsoo glanced around, clearly searching for something that would fit the small figure before him. He pulled out an oversized black shirt from his drawer, a bit too large for anyone, but it would certainly cover him up. “It’s not fancy, but it’ll work,” he said, tossing it onto the bed. “It’s way too big for you, but you’ll be covered. Besides, something tells me you’d look cute in anything.” He helped Yoru into the shirt, pulling it over his head carefully. It hung down past his knees, swallowing him whole in soft, comfortable fabric, and for a moment, Yoru looked almost childlike in the oversized shirt. Youngsoo smirked as he adjusted it slightly. “There. Now you’re modest,” he teased, leaning back and crossing his arms. “I hope you don’t mind dressing like a human for now. We don’t exactly have Fae-sized fashion in my realm. Yoru’s question about his name made Youngsoo pause, his eyes flicking to meet his. “Bae Youngsoo,” he said, voice low but warm. “Call me Youngsoo, though. I like that better.” A slow grin spread across his face as he continued, “You’re lucky I found you. I don’t usually go around helping Fae. But you’re... different. And for what it’s worth... you’re cute, even in an oversized shirt.” He watched Yoru carefully, noting the slight shift in his expression before adding with a playful glint in his eyes, “But if you try to fly again with ribs like that, I’m definitely tying you down. I like my Fae on the ground, where I can see you.”
He used what little magic he had in him and tapped the shirt, it shrunk so it was now oversized in a faerie size. It was now doll-sized but still big and baggy like it was when human-sized. It hung off his shoulder and went to just above his knees. He sighed "I wish I had underwear...my bits..." he got an idea and took some of the gauze and wrapped it around himself in a makeshift underwear "Just enough that my bits are supported" he laughed softly and then held up the roll of gauze wrap "This stuff is useful" he then went back over to the pillow and lies down "I am serious about pain reliever...I will risk my health...give me whatever humans take...just...the tiniest crumb of a dose" you could tell he was desperate if he was asking for pain reliever since even in his realm he would power through it. He lies down because sitting up hurts too much but he makes sure he is positioned so he can see the man he is talking to, he looked a little awkward lying like that but it seemed like it hurt less when he was flat on his back.

After a bit of just lying on his back staring up at the ceiling, he glanced over "You didn't tell me your name.."
"You just said a lot of words and I understood almost none of them" he laughed and then swatted his finger away when he petted his head. "I used to read a lot, if you could get books in my size I could do that...music is nice too...though doing something together would be nice" he wasn't sure how much they could do together since he was so small. He sighs "It seems there is nothing we can do together..." It was lonely being this small, he couldn't do anything with his friend and he'd never be able to date or marry in this realm so it felt like he would have to rely on idle distractions to keep him from losing his mind. He flies so he's at eye level with him then smiles "I'd love to see what you do for fun for a little bit though, but being able to do my own thing would be nice as well" When he lifted his hand he grabbed his finger and just held onto his hand "Maybe someday I will figure out how to change my size...even if it doesn't last long...would be fun, though I'd still be smaller than you for sure...I imagine if we were the same species you would be a good bit taller...I just get that vibe" he nods firmly, this was pretty obvious because even as a faerie he was considered to be on the shorter side and he gave off petite vibes as well.
"That seems like a you problem. But may games are virtual reality. They make a simulated world. It's not real but it feels real. It's fun." He shrugged. "I can get you some books on the tablet. It's kind of big for you, but you'll do okay, I think." He nodded. "I can see if Ash can shrink the backup pod. He might have some ideas about how to make you big too. Who knows. You're not the same sort of little person as him so maybe not. Dunno." Fitz looked him over, up and down. "Yeah, you're a shorty."
"I mean...it's stuff I've never heard before..you can't expect me to understand...." he pouts "Little person? Just say fae...and leave the size thing to me...tablet....oh like your phone...but bigger.." he makes a phone shape motion with his hands "can't I use that instead....it's big but not too big....I could prop it up and then I can easily read if I adjust the text to not hurt my eyes" he rolls his eyes "Your friend probably comes from a different realm than I do...that means he would be entirely different, not just a different type of fae but a different thing entirely....uh..." he thinks for a moment "Let me explain it better...in my realm, there are different types of fae...like nature...forest...which are similar but not the same...dark...and so on..but in other realms, there can be fae that is unique to that realm and he could be from there. Some fae from those realms are much bigger as well. I've heard of some as big as 12 inches" he nods feeling good about how he explained it. "He can help size things...but for me and my size...I will work on that...letting someone use their magic to alter your form is risky and I would prefer to be tiny than deformed"

Youngsoo's heart pounded as he carefully scooped the fragile figure into his arms, his hands trembling slightly under the weight of the broken body. The small man, too weak to protest, barely shifted in his grip, his wings limp against his back, as though they were too exhausted to even try. “You’re not dying here,” Youngsoo muttered under his breath, more out of instinct than anything. His voice was rougher than usual, a tinge of something unfamiliar slipping through. He stepped away from the windowsill, his boots light against the floor as he moved. The building was cold, sterile, but he ignored the chill in the air, focusing only on the life in his arms. The stranger’s skin was freezing, his breaths shallow, barely a whisper of life left in him. As Youngsoo entered the interior rooms, he moved swiftly, glancing down at the small, fragile body in his arms. His mind raced, trying to think of what he could do to save him—what would keep him from slipping away before he had the chance. He lowered the stranger onto a soft bed, carefully adjusting him, his hands lingering just a moment longer than necessary to check for signs of life. The silence in the room was almost deafening. The prince—whoever he was—looked so small, so defeated. “You’re safe now,” Youngsoo said, more to reassure himself than the other. He placed a hand gently on the small man’s forehead, feeling the coldness still lingering there, the ice-cold grip of a body that had nearly given up. He moved to get a blanket, his movements quick and precise, covering the stranger’s form and settling him in as best he could. His heart thudded in his chest as he continued to check for any sign of response, though his hopes were minimal. “Don’t go yet,” Youngsoo whispered softly, his voice carrying an unexpected edge of vulnerability. “I don’t know what you’re running from… but I’m not going to let you disappear here.” He stood over the bed for a moment longer, watching the small figure, the weight of the task ahead pressing down on him.
He was out for a while but as his body changed from ice cold to moderately warm he shifted from passed out to asleep and his breathing went from shallow to relaxed. After a bit, his eyes slowly opened and he groaned softly, he was unbelievably sore. Every inch of his body hurt, the muscles, the joints, and every scrape and bruise. He slowly sat up and glanced around. Unlike what the man thought he wasn't running from anything, he had actually been tossed away like he was trash, once a prince dethroned and living in the woods he tried to fight for his family titles back and ended up banished from the realm entirely, now he was here in some realm that he had no chance of surviving in on his own, not at his size. That was the plan, the ones who banished him expected him to die either from hunger, cold, hitting the ground, or even an animal or human. Maybe he'd be stepped on or eaten by a wild animal. At this point he wished he had been killed, he wanted to be dead, the pain he felt in his body and the emotional turmoil going on within him, was overwhelming and his mind was going crazy. He sighed heavily and his body went limp and he just lay there trying to process something, anything. To understand what had happened where he was and what his life had become.
Youngsoo stood in the corner, his back turned as he worked to organize a few things, his mind focused on the tasks at hand. But as he heard a soft groan, his eyes flicked over to the small figure lying in the bed. The prince was awake. His breathing, once shallow and labored, had deepened, and now, as he stirred, Youngsoo felt a sense of quiet relief. But the small figure’s movements were slow, almost painful, and Youngsoo couldn’t ignore the pained groan that followed. The prince glanced around, taking in his surroundings, confusion flickering across his features. Youngsoo watched for a moment, not moving, his presence barely noticeable in the quiet room. But then the prince’s gaze fell, his body slackening again as if all the energy had been drained from him. He lay there, limp, staring at the ceiling, lost in his thoughts. Youngsoo couldn’t leave him like this. Slowly, he stepped forward, his voice low, careful, as though he didn’t want to startle the fragile figure. “You’re safe here,” he said softly, but there was something more than that in his voice—something softer, something that revealed just a hint of concern. “You were barely hanging on when I found you. I had to get you somewhere safe.” He paused, watching the prince’s blank stare, knowing the weight of the situation. The words he spoke next felt almost out of place—almost personal. "Whatever happened to you... you're not alone now." Youngsoo lingered for a moment, not wanting to crowd him, but his voice carried a quiet reassurance. “Stay here for as long as you need. I don’t know where you come from or what you’ve lost, but I’m not letting you die in this place.”
He spoke softly "I lost so much..." his voice sounded pained as though he was holding in so many emotions. He sighed and looked over "I was banished from my realm for trying to defend my family...I was sent here to die..." he sits up again, but it hurt quite a bit "I need a meal...I haven't eaten in..." he shook his head "I have no idea how long it's been..." he hadn't been in this realm long, but he had gone without food for quite a while before that as he had been living in the forest since him and his entire family were dethroned and kicked from their home. He likely had some bruised ribs since he was so badly bruised from his fall, if he didn't have a broken bone in any part of his body, it would be a miracle. He was unsure why this man was so willing to help him, humans were cruel to his kind, from what he had been told about them he knew they killed his kind and that is why when banished they were sent to realms with humans in them. He couldn't sit up any longer as it was too painful, and he went limp again. He was the weakest he had ever been in his entire life and it was actually quite scary.

"well...depends on the color...a brighter blue...purple..red...okay...but yellow? I don't think it would look good...I'm so pale I'd probably look like I was dipped in pee" he rolled his eyes at the mention of yellow. He would put up a fight with color but a little here and there wouldn't end him, though it would have to be colors he already liked just in brighter versions otherwise he'd probably fight it. He smiles "Plus I do wear a little color, purple and red are colors. Just darker than what you want. I don't know why you care. I'm so small, not like I make your home look dreary" he sticks his tongue out at him then laughs softly, he then flies to the bathroom and looks in the mirror at the clothes he made, he poses a bit and checks over the stitching and nods before flying back "I'm really proud of how it turned out. What should we do now? Not much I can do at my size....what do you normally do for fun?"
"You clearly haven't experienced the wonders of a properly made yellow," he said as he reached over with a finger and ruffled the boy's hair. "I will educate you." To be honest, he didn't care, he just wanted to mess with the little princeling that had invaded his home.
"I play games and stream for fun. And for work. It's a twofer. I could set up the tv so you could watch a stream, I guess. Or see if Ash can shrink my backup pod maybe."

The story of Thor entered his mind and how the deity nearly drank the ocean dry. That could be amended linking a watering can to a biggerer source which he could water from. Noting it he made it a point to research the spell and how he could do it as the magic would be a stretch forcing him to improve.
"Ah alright...I used to read a lot at home...but the books in this realm are quite large..." he thought it over and maybe he would just take another nap but he could at least nap outside since he could nap near his large companion who would protect him from animals. He shrugs "After I do some more gardening maybe I will nap again...I can nap near you since outside is always nicer than inside.." he used to sneak out often when he was younger because he liked being outside but it wasn't allowed. He often visited the garden since anything beyond that was dangerous. He smiled "It's finally warm again...just before I was banished it was winter...it was so cold...miserable" he decided to fly back to his little home "I will join you when you come out to read...for now I will get to know my home some more" he was still unfamiliar with his new home so he wanted to put away his clothes and see what else was in there.
"Not what I meant...I mean like where...other than shops. Some places have people who sell things specially made. We had many craftsmen who we could contact and buy things from. Is this a thing here? I saw in a shop window when I first landed that miniatures are a thing...maybe a tiny kitchen is something we could buy if you find someone who enjoys making them" in this realm buying online was pretty much what he was referring to but he had no idea since he had never heard of the internet before. He tilts his head "Maybe we should start a garden...a small garden box in the window might be plenty for just myself...then we only need to buy meat, eggs, and milk sometimes" he glances at everything "I can try alcohol...just very little" he nods then gets comfortable again in his pocket "this should do. I can use the soup can for days to have a meal. Meat and veggies I can have you cook for me....I will help...make potatoes with it...yummy" he would have to tell him what to do since it was dangerous for him to use the big stove and pans but he only needed small portions so it would be quick and easy at least.
“Oh. Well yeah, of course you can order stuff on the internet. Gotta wait for it though, it can take a few days.” Luis clarified, “miniatures like that aren’t usually functional though. They’re just like models.”
Luis sighed to himself with mild frustration. He wasn’t in a position to provide what was being demanded of him. He was trying not to snap at the little guy considering what he’d been through, but was reaching his limit.
“I told you already, I can’t cook. I don’t have the means to cook, I don’t eat human food. If you want all this stuff you should go and find a human, I can’t provide what you’re asking of me. I’ll order you some things online but things are different here and you’re gonna have to get used to it.”
Stress was getting to him. He headed to the checkout, picking up a few other miscellaneous items on the way. “I’ve got a student coming over soon. I will need you to make yourself scarce.”
"Inter...net...what is that?" he tilts his head "no no, I've heard of real miniatures. Humans are weird...they like little things that work" he sighs "I can't find a human...humans aren't trustworthy..they kill my kind....but how can I cook at my size.." he thinks for a moment "is there pre-made food? the soup...it's in the can already made...just needs to be heated up...you can do that much right? well...maybe we need more already made things like that" he was determined to find a solution to the problem since cooking was out. "Forget meat and veggies and anything like that..." he would have to figure out how to change his size to be able to cook but for now he was stuck with pre-made food be it frozen or canned, which for someone his size things like that would last for multiple meals at least and that would be cheap for Luis. "I uh...what do I do while you are busy? Uh...what is the inter...net...maybe I can try this..."using his phone would give him plenty to do while the other was busy doing his teaching since he had never been online before he would be on there for hours likely, searching for clothes and cookware. He'd probably also end up on youtube at some point. He continued to watch Luis from within his pocket as he hoped things would work out. He hated how much it seemed Luis didn't like having Yoru around.

Miles got preoccupied by his book at some point and had forgotten to check on the small man until he saw movement from the corner of his eye. Miles perked up seeing that the small man’s wings were now up and as he looked closer he saw the others eyes open.
“Oh you’re awake, I’m so glad you are okay you weren’t in super great shape when we first met” miles said trying not to be to loud since for all he knew the other might have a headache not that Miles was loud in the first place anyway “my name is Miles Mikealson, you are currently in the Mikealson mansion in New Orleans, Louisiana”.
He watched him with a confused expression, he said a lot of things and it went mostly over his head. He had no idea what the hell New Orleans or Louisiana was. To him he was just in another realm and the specifics of where in that realm didn't matter. He stands up then covers himself with his hands for modesty, with his hands covering his bits he bows his head "I am Kageyami Yoru...Kageyami is my family name" he glances up at him "I am not from this realm..." he was shaky, clearly still weak and cold. He looked around to get a feel for the room he was in then back at the man "You...aren't human...I can feel it.." he wasn't sure what he was since he had trouble reading his energy but he absolutely could tell if someone was human or not.
