Even in Magma he invades
Do you think Jesus ever got many carpenter requests after he started preaching? Like did anyone ever go up to him and be like; "My Lord! My Lord!" And the disciples are all: "The Master won't do anymore miracles today." But obviously Jesus is like; "Yes, my child?" And they just ask what his basic rate is to fix their door.
No one talks enough about the fact that Jesus had a day job.
He repaired the relationship between humanity and god, he also repaired the table in his friend Mary's house cuz it wobbled too much.
βJesus!β
βHow can I help you my child?β
βSo the Chair I got from you and your dad is great, but I tripped over it and it broke, I was hoping you could fix it?β
βGo home and be at peace, your chair is fixed.β
βLord, did you really just use a miracle to fix his chair?β
βLuke my son, it was still under warranty.β
βhoney that guy who made our table got crucifiedβΒ
The victim blaming in the ttcc community is astronomical. I played the game for the first time in months to check out the new lore, and immediately see people saying βlynn is horribleβ βlynn ruined the potential peace cogs and toons couldve hadβ βthomas couldve been our friend but lynn ruined thatβ
This is just a repeat of barnacle bessie vs misty. People hate the toons for fighting their oppressors. The cogs are the bad guys. Some cogs having more individuality or not totally agreeing with the system they work under does not make these toons bad people for fighting them.
These toons see every cog as a threat because, as a whole, their company is invading their land. And they are not wrong to think that way. They are defending themselves against this known threat. It is not the toonsβ jobs to take a risk with every cog they come across βjust in case theyβre one of the good onesβ or some bullshit.
Idc if some cogs like misty or chip hate the company or are sad. Idc if lynn was an inconvenience and annoyance to thomasβ job. That doesnβt make it the toonsβ jobs to sympathize with these cogs or see βthe good in themβ. The responsibility will always and forever fall back on the cogs. The company, as a whole, is hurting the toons. Anyone who works under the company is, therefore, indirectly hurting the toons by default.
Iβm not saying the suits can βjust find another jobβ or smth because I think itβs established its not that easy for them. Im not dismissing the cogsβ struggles or that some, evidently, arent βas badβ as others. They still have individuality.
But none of that makes bessie nor lynn wrong for their actions. Whatβs stealing some shirts compared to literally invading an island and its citizens.
Also thomas isnt an uwu smol bean who can do no wrong. He is a large contributor to the problem. You can like him and understand him to an extent, but why must this ALWAYS equate to βtherefore the toons are evilβ in this community.
Im tired
You know itβs serious when hundreds of beavers is begging you to see the day the earth blew up: a looney tunes movie.
Which you should, right now!!!
I like when people like a character so way too much that it transcends even self shipping or kinning and becomes more of a patron saint that you pray to type of deal
"patron saint" stop using catholic figures in a blasphemous way! it's disrespectful to catholics.
youve made me very happy by saying this
