some sheogorathean gala ideas
just some thoughts on what one could incorporate in designs or stories for sheogorathean guests of @tes-gala :)
mushrooms - oh , megafungi of mania ! of course , grown mushrooms would probably not make for good accessories , but little baby sprouts might . there is also some potential to think about which mushrooms might make good dishes , and which ones have strange spores ... what effects could these spores have on other partygoers ?
gambolpuddy - unofficial book curio folio vol vii , altmer princess in heat , feature gambolpuddy . in this book , gambolpuddy is not just sacrificial artifact , but actually hold power to transfer identity ! orc warlord gain dunmer identity , khajiit servant gain that orc's identity , and altmer princess gain that khajiit's identity ... while this is in-universe erotic fiction , there is implication from real sheogorath that gambolpuddy might hold this power after all . that would be one fun way to spice up gala , no ?
wabbajack - classic ! in oblivion , wabbajack come with one effect only - transformation . this could be useful to turn hostile creatures against each other , or to make ghosts corporeal , but much more useful for shenanigans . skyrim expand even further : random bursts of magic , transformation into animals , invisibility , transformation into gold or sweet rolls ... of course , one must first figure out how to get wabbajack into gala . how hard could that be , right ?
staff of the everscamp - this might be lesser known , and there could be some association with namira as well , but this staff summon ... well ... everscamps . these scamps will never disappear , never leave , and always follow one around - with all of foul stink that this imply . even so , holder of this staff will feel compulsion to keep , forever and ever . would these scamps be good guests ? ( of course not - still scamps ! )
chee-nanigans - sure , cheese is old joke , might like to choose another food . but , how much cheese could one steal from this gala ? alternatively , how much cheese could one sneak in - and would this be snack cheese , accessory to wear , or projectiles to fling ?
