emptying and reloading a gun with practiced efficiency so you think i'm an expert marksman but you later find out that's just how i stim

turning the safety catch on and off like i'm clicking a pen until everyone gets really mad at the noise but no one says anything because i have a gun and they don't

As I get older I’m starting to let go of the guilty urge to build permanent habits. Like, a while ago I decided I would start jumping rope every day. I did it for like three weeks and felt good about it. Then I got bored, because of course I did, because I’m a human person. So now I do a bit of kickboxing because that’s what I like now. The other week I cut all sugar from my diet, just for a week, to challenge myself. Now I’m back to eating sweets but I don’t crave them as much.

Growth is about stretching, trying new things, and setting small, realistic goals for yourself, not picking a “good habit” you’ve decided you will be doing always and forever from now on. That’s not discipline. That’s pointless self-torture and unhealthy resistance to change.

What’s good for you today will not necessarily be what’s good for you tomorrow.

reblog if you like pizza or you've ever killed someone

good luck figuring out which one

getting your hair cut is always so awkward - mostly because social interaction is hard

like what exactly am i meant to say when they ask me what i've done so far that day?

a) polite lie: 'oh yknow just been around town a bit'

b) polite truth: 'not really much of anything, just relaxing'

c) full truth: 'i ate 26 oranges after systematically peeling each one and arranging the wedges in a 5x10 grid to eat them in diagonal patterns'

none of those seem like the right answer to me??

Yes! Please keep your snails safe! (I would like to note that in my experience, some snails are too big to retract enough to stop sticking to the ground. However, take that with a grain of salt)

oh my God i amnso sorry,,

You know, as the concept of “zombifying fungi” becomes more and more popular, I notice it still referred to everywhere as like a “brain parasite.” So I guess a lot of people overlooked or forgot how in 2019 it was discovered that cordyceps and other similar fungal parasites leave the brain and nervous system completely untouched. They only control the muscles. They use chemical signals to make the muscles flex in real time where they want to go :)

It’s funny how many people are replying “but that’s worse!” like you didn’t know that’s exactly why I put a smiley

Studio Ghibli’s animation software will be made available via open source this month.

That’s right…💯% free.

This is a BIG DEAL, folks.

Animation software is, by and large, very expensive and out of the range of most people seeking to get into animation.  As of March 26th, this software will become open source and available to all prospective animators!

Spread the word!

"gay or european" also goes for middle-aged women btw. that lady with short hair no makeup and sneakers isn't a lesbian she's just german

HEY, FELLOW HATERS OF INSANELY-BRIGHT CAR HEADLIGHTS, SOMEONE HAS STARTED A PETITION TO REGULATE THEM.

It's an official petition through the Australian Government's e-petition page, which means if it gets enough signatures, it will be tabled in government.

You do have to be an Australian citizen to sign it, BUT!!! PLEASE REBLOG THIS EVEN IF YOURE NOT, because these kind of things have a roll-on effect, and if Australia legislates LED headlights, then other countries may follow.

FYI, the petition asks only for your name and email, and once you've clicked the sign button, they'll send you an email to confirm your signature --- you need to click the confirmation link in the email to have your signature counted.

Lets gooooooooo

do people know that a french ex-president (nicolas sarkozy, from 2007 to 2012) is currently wearing an electronic bracelet after he was sentenced for corruption and influence peddling? do people know? i want everyone to know 😌

and that bernard squarcini, the head of internal security (DGSI) during sarkozy's presidency, just got convicted for influence peddling and has to wear an ankle bracelet for at least two years? 😌🙏

and that marine le pen, leader of the far-right party et one of the (ex)favorites for the 2027 presidential elections, has to wear an ankle bracelet for at least two years and is ineligible for five years?? 😌🙌✨️

My American ass watching other presidents face some form of consequence for wrongdoing…
