After spending a night sleeping on it, I think the reason the build to WrestleMania 41 is lacking is because the midcard and tag divisions aren't being focused on as much as the main title pictures. While I can understand the Women's World Title match has been a bit stilted mainly due to same old booking that makes Iyo Sky look clumpy despite being the champion and disregarding Rhea Ripley's character development in order to shoehorn her in, it's still engaging enough thanks to the talents of Iyo, Rhea & Bianca Belair; and whilst the World Heavyweight & WWE Women's Title matches have taken a bit of time to build, it seems like the midcard and tag divisions have struggled to get off the ground at all.
Feeling sick to my stomach reading all these negative comments on Jey's match yesterday. Do people forget he's human too? He's burnt out fr. He had matches back to back to back, from the house shows to raw. Seeing people who aren't wrestlers, who aren't on busy schedules, just talking shit about him, it hurts. Yes he botched the dive but don't other wrestlers botch moves too?
I just hope and pray he doesn't let these comments get to him.
Wrestling fans are often fickle but the way people are throwing everything & the kitchen sink at Jey is horrible. One botch & one bad match does not make a wrestler, so people using that as a justification as if he hasn't had better performances & shown out, including his last match with Gunther is unfair and tbh, a bit racist considering this is hardcore IWC marks going in on their anger that Cena didn't win, like your fav won the Chamber & is fighting for a title anyway, so why are you angry, cause Jey isn't note perfect? No wrestler is technically perfect, even you're favourite technical wrestler has at one point or another botched a move or a promo and that's fine because these people are human & will make mistakes AND THAT'S ALL RIGHT!
People need to stop whinging and either try and find something else to focus on this WM season or take a break and come back when they've calmed down, Jey is a good talent & is OVER with the crowd, like do you not see his entrances, how people pop for The Yeet Movement? Sure the word is out of date but Jey was able to repopularise it at that press conference and ever since then, it's having a resurgence.
I think if that segment between Cody & The Rock showed us anything, is that we need to put more respect on Randy Orton & the Candy ship itself, he made their tension look easy, easy enough that Dwayne thought he could replicate it with no issues whatsoever.
So the newest season The White Lotus premiered a few days ago after being off air for a couple of years & we were immediately plunged into a new era of the show, no Jennifer Coolidge, no vocal trills in the opening and instead of arriving in the aftermath of the seasons murder, we were thrown into the thick of a shootout at the Thailand resort, everything we think we know about the show is thrown clear out the window.
I have a feeling one of the only similarities we are going to get from seasons before (other than Greg) is that we'll be dealing with multiple deaths and I'm going to talk you through who each of the unlucky guests/staff will bite the proverbial bullets.

The writing was on the wall early. Malakai, The Dark Father vs Miro, God’s Chosen Champion for the TNT Title, IT WAS RIGHT THERE! This group deserved so much better than what’s been given to them. I’m glad Julia had her reign as TBS Champion & I hope she gets more but Brody & Buddy should have their moments in the sun and Malakai absolutely deserved better than being disparaged on the way out.

I’m happy that he’s freed but I hate how TK went about it, like the group suffered cause YOU didn’t know what to do with them, Malakai was not holding anyone back. I would have prefered it had Malakai released them like how Bray released his Wyatt Family members.

Damn straight they should. Naomi is the only one of her NXT season still there & should return as a champion, Bianca having never won a title there but yet walking in as a champion twice is also iconic. Also this is in Lash’s hometown & they’d give her a welcome fitting of such a superstar.
They’d also get TIME & Bianca and Lashkara will get a better chance to show out against each other.
Bay winning the Rumble and then her reign getting paid dust will never not pmo.
That whole mayhem over the main events was infuriating. Like give Bayley & Iyo their dues, also they stitched her up with that awful ‘RoLe mOdEl’ theme & not to mention how Tiffany’s MITB sealed her fate before she stepped into Summerslam. Naomi should have won it for that exact reason!
