from my sources adjacent to tumblr--from which i can spread rumors and insider information freely because i dont give a fuck about ever working in the tech sector--im hearing this round of firings was focused on purging the senior staff, and not just support but the entire remaining tumblr workforce. i'm hearing there are about 25 people left.
I take immense schadenfreude in Elon Musk spending $25 million to try to influence an election in Wisconsin only for the candidate he was backing to lose by a larger margin than was predicted before Musk got into the race. Like how tf do you dump that much money into a state supreme court election and get not only nothing out of it but LESS than nothing. That's a truly impressive level of failure. Another character I cooked up for Elwood Tales... Mira, the Half-Devil (Tiefling) Sorcerer....she's Sir Frederick's adventuring partner. (Both of them are rookies and didn't have much of a say being grouped up together)
