ok so tfp megan can be femme leaning/hyperfemme depending on her mood. most of the time she's gnc to butch because it's more convenient during war BUT i think she also pretty frequently has her moods where she's super femme and makes it everyone's problem. like knockout sorta except way worse bc she's the boss so if anyone messes her look up. there are consequences. also she's a punk and/or trad goth regardless of butch/femme-ness

earthspark megan is generally femme leaning but not extremely so, more like she toes the line between a butchy femme and a gnc woman. i'd imagine she's the kinda girl to hate shaving and makeup (sensory issues + time consuming) but really likes more feminine styles and things like perfume. very rarely hyperfeminine, although it has been known to happen.

perhaps controversial but i think bayverse megan is constantly a femme, and not ever really a butch. at times she might be a soft butch but that's kinda it. HOWEVER. she is not hyperfeminine bc it's too inconvenient and she has other things to deal with. so solidly femme/femme leaning but not full on.

cyberverse megan is VERY femme at all times, never a butch. it may be inconvenient but she's a girlboss who is EXTREMELY dramatic and to her the inconvenience is actually part of the appeal. similar to tfp megan, if you ruin her outfit/makeup/whatever, you are dead. (real reason she killed starscream btw. it's canon trust me.) important to note: she's kinda goth but also not really. more grunge clothing but makeup is gothic.

armada megan is sorta like tfp megs in that she can be both butch and femme depending on her mood, however armada megan is always solidly one or the other, never in between, and also spends an equal amount of time as a butch/femme. so one day she'll be a stone butch and then the next she's hyperfemme. works in a lot of scenecore clothing but tones it down a little (neon hurts her eyes so she wears more muted colors)

lowkey beast wars megan is the ultimate manic pixie dream girl to me. she's wearing styles that people literally didn't know existed. i think she'd be just a little too into cheetah print but she pulls it off. Kind of femme but in a distinctly queer/gnc way, and very rarely wears makeup. her hair is probably an undercut imo.

megan in idw REALLY depends on which part of the comics we're talking about, and i feel like she's had some radically different eras. her as a stealth bomber was her stone butch goth era, as d-16 she was just gnc because of convenience but not properly a masc, and on the lost light she kinda tried out more feminine looks but was still more masc than femme. can vary somewhat but in general is more comfortable when presenting as masculine, and never felt all that drawn to more traditional feminine things.

tf one megatron is a buzzcut lesbian and i don't argue about this. i think d-16 kept her hair in either locs or twists and then immediately after becoming megatron/being banished she buzzed her hair, just as another physical representation of her transformation. (get it. transformation in a transformers post.) she grew her hair out a bit more as megatron after that but still kept it relatively short. her clothing style is more utilitarian and about convenience, so again, masc leaning. when she gets more time to dress up tho she can be pretty femme.

yeah. i have too many thoughts abt tgirl megatron as you can tell (if hasbro didn't want me to think megatron is trans then why is she literally trans)
