I was also initially going to have them lose the ability to go into their devil trigger mode when they get beat the fuck up by nero and dante in 4 but I think it would be sexy of them to be able to keep it (and because my partner asked if they were gonna keep it for dmc5 and I took that as permission to be op as fuck)

I had to infodump about gabriel to my partner who is also insane about dmc and likes some of my inserts and they think gabriel is cool which is probably the highest form of compliment to me
