Call Of Duty Modern Warframe II - Howling and Hollow
Bullet holes riddle the walls, even they are covered of them. In the kitchen, the table lies overturned and so are the chairs, evidence of a sudden struggle. The mother’s lifeless body rests on the floor, her chest and head bearing fatal gunshot wounds and struck down in the middle of dinner. It was supposed to be a calm one, but then a bullet stroke right to her chest through the window, shattered the glass as they are on the floor, then shot her head next.
Halia’s father dives behind the couch for cover, returning fire as chaos erupts around them. “Halia, GO!” her father yells, gun in hand, as masked men burst in, bullets ripping through the air.
Halia crouched behind the wall, hands clamped over her ears as gunfire shattered the air, the deafening cracks leaving her ears ringing.
"RUUUNN!!" her father screamed, a desperate, blood-choked cry that tore from his throat.
A split second later, a bullet struck him in the head. His body collapsed to the cold floor, lifeless, his final plea echoing in her mind.
Sigma’s eyes snapped open, and she sat up abruptly, heart pounding in her chest. She looked around. She is in a tent, lying on a cot. Right… She told the others she needed to rest before the mission to find the missiles.
The nightmare… it was just a dream.
She exhaled shakily and ran her fingers through her raven hair. “Not again...” she muttered under her breath.
These dreams had haunted her for months. She forgot about her past what it looked like. Joined the Air Force, she didn’t had it, why now? Even after all these years since her parents were killed, they kept coming back. The same questions echoed in her mind: Who were those masked people? Were they part of some secret organization?
Her aunt had taken her in after it happened. The police had tried to find more information, but after months of searching, they found nothing. No names. No leads. Eventually, leaving no choice, they had drop the investigation down to the hole, leaving nothing but unanswered questions.
