Fantastic lines by @jackdaw-sprite I used #3 for the color challenge on this this, I was trying out pixeling the reference picture after moving it a little bit to suit my lighting needs. not sure if I'll do it again but it was a ton of fun! I got a 30sec time lapse of my process.
I used the week#1 color#1 of the palette challenge partly. initially I was going to be using the blue undertones in the black for her, but then halfway through I thought, "hm, what if she could change her hair to match tones of songs like pyrotechnics?" So i got a new hc and made some neat colors~ The incredible lines are thanks to @hithisiszooz
FINALLY finished this piece for @green-with-envy-phandom-event ! This took so many hours but it's finally done and I'm pretty proud of how it came out.

Great news everyone. There was a kitten wandering in the drive thru at work and my inner warrior cats kid tried to be a hero and capture him.

pro tip: if you can't find the reference you use for a particular effect, look at old photoshop files where you used the effect and try to reverse-engineer it
I had so much fun when coloring this! The bg went through a few changes which can be seen in the time lapse video under the read more. I loved all of my ideas for creatures, but dual ectopi won. Epic Danny lines were drawn by @trueratdad
