That frame is perfect! Honestly I think it's a universal experience that the better a piece is, the harder it is to get a good photo of it. Your work is so nice.

I recently saw this video of engineering knits mending their store-bought socks by knitting a new heel and toe and that was so cool and amazing, and I know the ripping back and the gauge (even if I go to a bigger gauge) will be so bad, but I have these sheep socks that really need to last longer

I might try it on less precious socks first and see whether I can bring myself to to this

So after reading the latest chapter of @parameciam's excellent Quanyin reincarnation fic i won't let time write you an epitaph and going down a long frog-research rabbit hole, I couldn't help but draw this scene where this frog (one of Yin Yu's many reincarnations) lands on the poetry Quan Yizhen was writing.
