𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬!

NSFW, k!nk or dualcom DNI.

-> Try to physically get the energy out. Run around, do as many push ups as you can or stay in a plank until you have to fall. They sound silly, but it can help get the tension out.

-> Allow yourself to release the emotions. Crying is okay, yelling into a pillow is okay- just being angry is okay.

-> If you struggle with being able to use nice hands on yourself or others, find fidget toys to distract yourself with. Stress balls can be especially good, because you can give them lots of big squeezes!

-> Create a communication card if you’re prone to lashing out at others. Instead of trying to engage in a conversation where you know you can’t be kind, prepare something ahead of time. Picsart can be a very good tool for creating simple cards like that!

-> Write in a journal or talk to your stuffies about any mean or harsh thoughts you can’t tell others- your stuffies won’t tell anyone, promise!

-> Identify triggers to try and avoid them, or find management for them. Writing down what upsets you can be helpful to reflect back on and learn from.

-> Always remember that you aren’t a bad teeny for having big feelings. It’s okay to be angry, to have tantrums, to not know what to say or do. You can navigate this- you are strong and valuable. ♡

Agere internet safety 🛜

Since a lot of us have been sharing internet safety rules for the younger members of the community, I would also like to add:

Don’t click on random links! Especially if they’re from strangers!

Links can very easily lead to viruses and hacks, inappropriate or malicious content, etc. Even links that look like they are from YouTube or social media can be malware.

If you get random asks or comments with links, especially from anons, bots, blank, or suspicious blogs, delete it immediately; do not click it. Personally, I only click a link if it’s from a blog I am very familiar with, and I am certain of where the link will take me. Always exercise caution, and better safe than sorry. Similarly, check your browser to make sure any site you use is secure. If they aren’t, leave immediately. Again, this is avoid viruses and scams.

Hi guys!! It's that time of year again!! I know it's still February, but my birthday is at the end of March - I'm trying to save up to get myself something nice! March is a really tough month for me in general, so anything is appreciated for little treats. I have Kofi too if you just wanna throw a few bucks my way! Thanks for all your support ♡

Anonymous asked:

Hello!! I was wondering if you had any suggestions for age regression related activities to do that don't include looking at something with a screen (phone, computer, etc)? My eyes get dry really fast so staring at these things can cause some pain. If it helps to narrow things down any, I'm a middle regressor (tween-teen) so some activities around that age work! Thank you in advance!!

hi !! here are some ideas that will hopefully work for you :)

offline activities for tween/teen agere

  • make friendship bracelets, loom bracelets, or kandi
  • do activity kits! there's tons of types, like science, painting, jewelry, and so many more. i know that michaels sells lots of these !
  • visit science or history museums! there's always so much to learn, and you can always bring a journal or sketchbook and write about or make drawings based on what you see
  • if you have a friend or family member to play with, play board games, card games, chess, or checkers!
  • jump rope! try learning more complex tricks for an extra challenge
  • bake some treats! it doesn't have to be complicated; you definitely can make something from scratch, but using a mix from the store is easy, fun, and delicious
  • make something out of duct tape, like a wallet! (remember when that was a thing?)
  • build with legos! there's so many different kinds of sets, for any kind of skill level and age. i've completed space, animal crossing and minecraft sets !
  • put together jigsaw puzzles !
  • buy coloring books or print out coloring pages! there's such a big market for adult/more detailed coloring books these days, so you're bound to find something fun to color
  • make origami - all you need is some origami paper, and it's tons of fun
  • make slime! you can even buy kits from the store to make specific kinds of slime
  • garden! you could plant native wildflowers outside, plant a vegetable plant or herb, or you could even just plant a flower in a pot on your windowsill. there are also gardening kits that you can buy; i've done a couple of Back to the Roots' sprouts kits, and they're really fun!

i hope that these provide some good ideas for tween + teen age regressors looking for some offline activities! have fun <3

Interest check!

My lovely penpal bought me a keychain set, and it's inspired me! Would anyone be interested in comfort character keychains?

tbh agere is involuntary for me because stress/trauma etc but also I'm not interested in preschool cartoons and stimboards so the general concern that I'm 'doing agere wrong' probably causes me more stress than it relieves

ive started making an effort to separate inner child healing and age regression because the two are very different and i think ive been alienating people accidentally! inner child healing is all the pretty, lovely stuff. it's doing the things you loved, or wanted to do as a child, and addressing where things need change and that's beautiful, but it's not age regression (at least for me, i don't want to speak on other people's experiences).

despite the manicured blog and pictures, age regression is a mental health issue and not a lifestyle. it's distressing, humiliating and something im actively working on. i think that's an important distinction to make.

can we stop calling it “impure regression” im so serious

there’s no difference between “pure” and “impure” regression and we should have never separated them in the first place. its all just regression

REGRESSION IS "IMPURE" REGRESSION!!!! THERE IS NO REGRESSION WITHOUT A STRESSOR AT THE CENTER OF IT ALL

i cant tell by your tone if you agree with what i tagged or not, but i specified traumatized regressors here bc there are stressors that cause people to regress that arent trauma. i do regress because of trauma, but most of my regression episodes are because of chronic fatigue and being overworked

i just wanted to specify that "impure" regression has always just been regression all along because its the absolute core/root of age regression as a concept. we wouldnt have "pure" regression tumblr if it wasnt for "impure" regressors seeking out therapy and having therapists guide them through regression to help heal severe childhood traumas

yes I was agreeing!! Haha sorry if it came off any other way but YES big agree- I specifically haven't reblogged anyone else's additions but I wanted to reblog this one bc YES!
