What Strength Really Means 💪

Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home 🏡. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.

Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I loved—some of them are gone forever. 💔

And I'm now waiting to be Vetted by @gazavetters 🙏

More eyes = More who can verify!

Urgent

I woke up terrified, to the sound of earthquakes beneath us and explosions everywhere. I didn't want to believe it; with time, I realized the bitter truth: the war had returned. More than 200 other people, most of them children, slept like us, calm and reassured, preparing for their pre-dawn meal, but they didn't wake up like us.

Their night in paradise had now ended, and they were now in pieces among us.

If the situation continues like this, perhaps these moments are our last moments in this life. The enemy did not stop at stealing and preventing the entry of food, but he returned to kill us and steal our souls as well.

I don't know where the world is when it comes to this flagrant crime. Save the Gaza Strip 💔

it's actually insane that we're supposed to rely on crowdfunding sites like gofundme to help people suffering from a genocide.

like a lot of people in gaza are currently reliant on these sites and it takes a lot of time and effort to raise the smallest amounts of money. due to the number of fundraisers people tend to ignore most of them until something 'special' stands out.

i know someone who has had their fundraiser taken down twice for no reason. he has lost a very huge amount of money due to that. money that took months to raise. it's cruel and inhumane for these websites to shut down fundraisers and steal the money that would benefit someone living in such hellish conditions.

the person who lost all this money is my friend siraj. siraj just wants to ensure his family's well being. please consider helping him out by sharing and donating. his fundraiser has been verified (#219)

Add to that the closure of the crossings for the fourth day in a row, which increased the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. The war is not over. We are in another humanitarian war.

My name is Anas Al-Sharfa. Since October 7, 2023, we have been suffering from a brutal war that has destroyed our dreams and hopes, exceeding the limits of human comprehension. During this savage war, we have endured hardships that mountains could not bear.

We are facing severe water shortages and a critical lack of food and nutrition due to the blockade in northern Gaza for the past 10 months, preventing essential supplies like meat, vegetables, and fruits from entering. This situation has forced us to eat animal feed, leading to weight loss, various diseases, and a significant weakening of our immune systems.

We also suffer from severe water shortages, often walking nearly 1 kilometer to obtain a single gallon of water, which is approximately 16 liters, barely enough for five family members. As a result of the war, our home and agricultural land, which used to provide our daily sustenance, were destroyed and completely bulldozed, leading to major disruptions in our lives. We have also suffered from repeated displacement, moving from one place to another and from one area to another due to the horrific and brutal bombings.

Additionally, we have been deprived of education and the opportunity to build a future. I was studying to become a doctor to help people, but fate did not allow this as my university, where I dreamed of studying, was destroyed. I have been overwhelmed with thoughts during this war—how will I build my future? How will I complete my studies?

We also suffer from fear and terror due to bombings, fire belts, and explosives. Hospitals, which are the lifeline for every sick and needy person, have also been destroyed. We face a shortage of medicines and vaccines while diseases increase and ravage us, with no solution in sight as there are no hospitals or medical supplies available here in Gaza. We live in constant fear for my younger siblings because they haven't received their general vaccinations, particularly after the widespread outbreak of polio due to the lack of cleaning supplies and the massive accumulation of waste in the streets. The streets are also flooded with sewage, posing a grave threat to our children. My brother suffered from jaundice, battling it for about two weeks with fatigue, dizziness, and other symptoms. It's a deadly disease, and as mentioned before, there’s no treatment available due to the destruction of hospitals and health centers.

We are also suffering from the absence of cooking gas, forcing us to use wood and plastic to start fires, which could lead to poisoning. We've been without electricity since October 7, spending days in darkness, causing immense fear in my younger siblings. This has also made it extremely difficult to charge our phones and batteries for lighting at night. We had to travel kilometers from our home to find places with electricity, incurring high costs to charge our phones and batteries.

Moreover, we have had no stable income since the beginning of the war after our agricultural land was destroyed.

I kindly request assistance for my family so that we can live a better life.

🌍✨ A Voice from Gaza: Fighting for Hope ❤️‍🩹

Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.

This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.

Our Journey So Far

When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.

But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.

Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:

🏠 Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.

😢 Loss: The absence of the 25 family members we’ve lost is a pain we carry every moment.

💔 Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.

How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:

  • $5 may seem small, but for us, it’s a little relief, a moment of comfort, and a reminder that kindness still exists. ❤️
  • Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.

✅️ Vetted by @gazavetters ( #309 ) ✅️

Why Your Support Matters Your kindness isn’t just about helping us meet our goal—it’s about reminding us that we’re not alone in this fight. It’s about hope. It’s about survival. And it’s about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.

Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.

With all my love and gratitude,

Mosab and Family ❤️

Please read this as if i were a member of your family. Maybe your sister, your daughter or your friend. As if my family who is going through difficult circumstances is your family.

Hello, I'm Ola, a graduate student from the faculty of science - Al-Azhar University in G@za P@lestine. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. As you reading my message, myself and my family, “my mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,” are trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to fear, instability, and starvation, thirst, and poverty in northern G@za.

After 508 days of suffering, I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, in desperate need of your help. I can't describe how harsh the situation we are living in is. My family is suffering from the biting cold of winter, and we are facing a severe shortage of food and clothing. Every day feels like a lifetime, and every moment makes me feel helpless and hopeless. 💔

After the prices went up so crazy, I created this campaign to help my family provide food, water and essential needs. I know for sure that you can't help all families that want your help but at least you can help those who come across your life.

Every simple thing makes a difference in changing the situation we are in. So please don't hesitate to help us 🙏💔

It's your time to help and make a difference, Will you?!

Thank you for taking a minute to read this.♥️

The month of Ramadan is the month of love and compassion among people. This is a simple glimpse of our condition in Ramadan. The month of Ramadan is a month of self-discipline and soul-refinement through abstaining from food and drink for a certain period. The rich and the poor feel better and family cohesion increases.

Ramadan has come upon us while we are in a war. The war has not ended. The sounds of the cannons have fallen silent, but starvation and deprivation have begun. Two days ago, the crossings were closed, and nothing is entering Gaza, which already has nothing and suffers from a lack of food and water.

I have not seen water in my area for days and the situation is getting worse. We wish for death at any moment and we do not see it.

Please share and donate so that I and my children can live.

Hello my friends, I hope you hear me.

After years of pain and loss💔, war has cast a heavy shadow over our city. The streets we played on as children are now in ruins, and the homes we sought refuge in have been reduced to rubble. Our lives have changed profoundly.🥺💔 We have lost our loved ones, our homes, and our sense of security. But we have not lost hope. We are a group of survivors dreaming of a better future. We want to start over, rebuild our homes, send our children back to school, and return to the life we deserve. We have the will, but we need help to make this dream come true💔🙏. We are launching this campaign to raise funds to start our new lives. The money we raise will be used to rebuild our homes, provide basic necessities such as water, food, and clothing, as well as support our children’s education to ensure a brighter future for them. We believe in the limitless power of humanity and the goodness in the hearts of people all over the world.💔🙏💔 Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in our lives. We are not asking for much, just a chance to start over. You can be a part of this story – a story of rising from the ashes and building hope. Help us light the way through the darkness of this long road.💔

Help Ahmed Provide for His Family

Note: if you see this post on the blog @/dantespixellatedinferno, that is me, I am posting this here for further reach.

I am writing this post at the request of @ahmedgaza7

Ahmed is a 34-year-old man who lives with his wife and 4 children in Gaza. Ahmed and his family have lost everything since the occupation began and have been displaced multiple times since then. Donations for his campaign have been very weak, with his GoFundMe being at only 8% of his goal. Ahmed needs help urgently, as him and his family struggle greatly from meet their most basic needs, and they are unable to supply those needs without those funds. If you can donate, then please do so, help this family rebuild the life that they had before the occupation began. And if you are unable to provide to Ahmed's campaign, then please share this post, so that his GoFundMe can be seen by more people.

Donation links are down below.

Note: Ahmed's campaign has been vetted by @gazavetters, their verification number is #521.

Hello my friend, how are you? I hope you are well.

The month of Ramadan has come upon us and I am in dire need of your help. Unfortunately, I do not have enough food to provide for my family to prepare the iftar meal after fasting.

And also I am still living under a worn piece of cloth in this cold. My child got sick because of the weather and I am in dire need of buying a tent to protect us from the cold.

Please my friend donate what you can for my family, they need you very much, they need food and warmth

I hope you donate what you can.

Testimony from the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza paints a brutal picture of Israeli detention, including accounts of torture, starvation and the poor conditions prisoners are forced to endure.

Speaking to Arab48, the lawyer of Dr Hussam Abu Safiya said that he was prevented from meeting anyone, including his lawyer, from the day he was detained on 27 December until 10 February.

In late December last year, the hospital was stormed by Israeli troops following nearly three months of suffocating blockade and constant air strikes on its departments and the area surrounding them.

The Palestinian health ministry said dozens of doctors were taken to detention centres for interrogation, including Abu Safiya.

Lawyer Ghaid Qassem was able to visit the doctor in the notorious Ofer prison in the occupied West Bank, where he has been detained for over 70 days after spending nearly two weeks at the Sde Teiman detention camp in the Negev desert.

His lawyer detailed that he was isolated for 14 days in Sde Teiman and an additional 25 days in Ofer.

He was later transferred to Section 24 in Ofer, where detainees from Gaza remain separated from other prisoners. Abu Safiya's lawyer describes the abuse and torture present in Israeli detention centres as "unprecedented".

"If we talk about the Sde Timan prison, it is a slaughterhouse in every sense of the word," she said. "We are talking about prisoners who have been shackled for 10 months, prisoners whose limbs have been amputated without treatment, elderly prisoners who are shackled and blindfolded, prisoners who have lost 70-90 kilograms of their weight”

Dr. Issam Abu Ajwa, a surgeon from Gaza who was recently freed from Israeli prisons, tells the Guardian:

⭕️ "Interrogators were told to work hard to make sure that I lost the use of my hands and became unable to perform surgery."

⭕️ "During interrogations, I was tortured and beaten. They would throw me on the ground. One would hit me on the head while the other opened my ear and poured water inside."

⭕️ "There was a bathroom [in the interrogation room] … they would take a toilet brush and tell me ‘today we are going to brush your teeth."

⭕️ "I was tied up, blindfolded and three or four of them held my face, pinned it down and kept scrubbing."

⭕️ "One of the senior interrogators had given instructions that because I was a senior consultant surgeon they should work hard to make sure that I lost [the use of my hands] and became unable to perform surgery."
