what are the best web sites to find good recipies if you’re more experienced in cooking- i subscribe to a few sub stacks but it’s just pricey and a bit frivolous for me right now financially, i know there’s BA and nyt but do you know about any others? preferably free but i’ll take any suggestions
Hmm, I don’t use many online sources for recipes unless it’s something specific and usually I just google it. Maybe other people who follow this blog have recommendations? I would say if you find a chef or type of food you like to just buy a cookbook… there are some seriously beautiful and informative cookbooks out there—I reference my favorites all the time. I know they’re not always cheap but then you always have a hard copy reference with beautiful photos and recipes you might not find online. Check out the cookbook section at the thrift store too, sometimes there’s gems!
Sorry to suggest something analog, I know it’s not the most helpful, I also can’t afford any kind of subscription and jump paywalls if I need to for a recipe but that’s just me.
