Let's add context to this: The 'political nonsense' that was most prevalent in South Africa would have been Apartheid. Something the Musks were benefiting from. Of course, you won't be interested in the riots and boycotts if you're being benefited by the segregation and subjugation of not one but several races. I make this distinction because South Africa makes clear distinctions between Black people, Brown/Coloured people/Indian people, and Asian people. Asian in this is generalised, and 'Coloured' was and still is a racial classification in South Africa. In short: Elon didn't care for politics because he was basically at the top of the food chain.

Saying they lived in a 'well-run' country is ignoring the literal crimes that the Apartheid government committed in the marginalisation of entire communities. Soweto uprisings, Angola wars, involvement in the then Rhodesia. South Africa wasn't well-run. The economy and culture (of white South Africans) were tanking. It was well-run for the Musks because they benefited from the dehumanisation of others.

The Musks were law-abiding. Why? Because the laws dehumanised anyone whose skin was the wrong colour. And that was what they wanted. It's what they needed to keep on top (even though we all know Elon is totally a bottom). The Musks were law-abiding because the law told them that they could treat others like trash and they did just that.

Virtually no crime, and no crime is the biggest lie in his statement. The government was a crime. Apartheid was a crime. Murder rampage the streets, and buildings were burned. People were thrown from their homes. And I'm not just talking about one side or the other. Both sides committed crimes, albeit for different reasons.

What we would call radical Republicans were the Afrikaner Weerstandbeweeging, or AWB (Afrikaner Defence Movement). Afrikaner, in this sense, does not mean 'African' as is generally known. Someone descendent from the content of Africa with dark skin. The history of Afrikaners is a whole different story which I won'tget into now. Essentially, they are white, Afrikaans speakers. Think Texans think KKK without the religious aspect. Actually, maybe a little religious, but that is a whole different thing.

The AWB drove a vehicle into the building where peace talks were happening. They did not want Apartheid to end. I wouldn't be surprised if the Musks were associated with the AWB. The AWB, the police and the army killed and injured thousands of Africans. The government made them less than human.

Then there is the resistance, which, of course, held protests, burned buildings and cars, killed and injured White people. But honestly? They weren't doing anything that the Apartheid supporters weren't doing. And they did it for the right reasons. For the seeking of equality and justice.

Then, onto being friends with the servants. This is one of the things that I've seen most in the comments. I don't know what servants the Musks had. They might have had a cleaning lady. They might have had a gardener. They might have had a weird butler that the dad kept around for unknown reasons. But wouldn't your kids be friends with your cleaning lady's kids if they were around a lot? I would want her to bring her kids to play with my kids where they are safe during the day rather than her leaving them home alone or having to pay for a babysitter. But as evidence on this family shows, they do not have a kind hearts that many people have. They wouldn't make this argument. And while many white South Africans, many Afrikaners, fought against Apartheid, these were people who disagreed with what the government was doing. And it really doesn't seem like the Musks had any reason or want to do so. It feels a bit like a racist pig saying, "I work with a black guy, and I'm fine with him, so I can't ve racist!" It just points to you being a fucking racist.

TLDR: South Africa was not law-abiding, peaceful, well-run, or crime less. The Musks are trying to save their asses and it's not working because it is lies.

This is part of why a bunch of porn sites (like pornhub) are just blocking Florida instead of having to deal with this shit: if they had to store a bunch of data, they would get hackers trying to hack them to steal it. They don't want to deal with that shit!

I usually don't make serious posts, but as a kink blog in this situation, it's not just Florida.

Other states do this too, with larger porn sites. Pornhub itself went "nope" and blocked my state altogether. So did several other sites. Many of us have to use a VPN just to see the content- and if we want to PRODUCE said content it's even harder.

Funny that if that happened, lots of lawmakers and republican pundits would be experiencing quite the scandal. Instead of simply allowing human beings to enjoy sexual content, and teaching safe sex ed in schools, they want to make sex solely for producing children on paper and nothing else (while still consuming sexual content behind closed doors because its okay if you oppose something in public and indulge in private like a hypocrite, apparently.)

They'd rather risk people's ENTIRE LEGAL IDS being leaked or sold for information. Literal identity theft. Just so they can continue to act like humans in our society are perfect sexless beings until the marriage bed, and no other time ever.

It's a surreal situation when the porn websites want to keep you safer than your own government.
