I feel like the big push for AI is starting to flag. Even my relatively tech obsessed dad is kinda over it. What do you even use it for? Because you sure as hell dont want to use it for fact checking.
There's an advertisement featuring a woman surreptitiously asking her phone to provide her with discussion topics for her book club. And like... what? This is the use case for commercial AI? Is this the best you could come up with? Lying to your friends about Moby Dick?
Generative AI right now is just a novelty. the only uses I can think of for mainstream AI is in free answer polls, where many different things can mean the same thing, AI could be good at binning answers together.
it feels a lot like the space race, no real reason other than a fear that their may BE a reason (and also it acts as a dick measuring contest between companies).

Well, I know I wasn’t tagged, but I thought I’d might as well participate.
I’ve used this username since elementary school for basically anything that wasn’t school related.
As for where it comes from? Apparently it’s what my name translates to, or at least that’s what I thought for years. But years later when I asked my mom again, she said she thought it translated into something (slightly) different. So there’s been some confusion surrounding my name lol.
Either way, the username stuck, and since it’s pretty much never taken, I use it for everything.

The cabbage wizard was actually something my friend came up with. It has a bit of build-up I have to explain. I showed one of my friends the Lonk meme. You know, the one with the Mii. And bro liked it :). I also went to French class one day, specifically Valentine’s day, and learned that a common word of endearment is “mon chou” meaning “my cabbage” I told this to that same friend and later that day she gave me a valentines day card with this loveliness on it

Well, mine actually doesn't have much of history. I would usually go with something like Fresco Princess or Lily Fresco since that's my OC that serves as my avatar since like 4th grade. When me and my friend (who literally probably hates me rn) would place ourselves in some fantasy worlds, we would use our avatars and my became a beloved OC of mine. Now, why here on Tumblr is greennoobartist is basically bcuz I was dumb lol. I didn't know how does making urls here work, so when I wrote fresco_princess888, it said smth like taken or doesn't work. I didn't know that you can't use dashes (_) 😐 so after I tried multiple times, i gave up and decided to try smth completely different. And then I i just went with smth that describes me: greennoobartist (green bcuz I love green, noob artist bcuz yes, im a noob artist) I was satisfied with it and noticed that its not hard to write it and went with it. Later on i found out that you have to use these dashes (-) rather than these (_) lol XD
And that's actually it :)

Yeah, so when I was learning English for the first time, I wanted to make up one username for everything English, so I'd never forget. So I kinda thought, 'what am I to the community?'
And, here we are.
well you see, when i was but a child i had a rather goth phase, and on some other social media platforms, so i had a very emo ghost theme and uh-
someone jokingly called me a bootleg walmart halloween ghost and i liked the insult enough to make it my username on here. so yeah-
I'm weird, but there's weirder, and corvids were on my mind at the time

Was playing plants vs zombies when I was younger, misspelled seed. Decided that it was cool and kept it. Fast forward and it's now also the name of a kpop band. I thought about changing it in 2023 but when I learned about the kpop band I decided not to change it, out of spite.
