It’s actually pretty nuts how there is no real mass media coverage of the protests that are happening all over the US. It demonstrates fairly conclusively that the unlawful activities at the White House aren’t just limited to Trump. There’s a lot of wealthy people in powerful positions in the US and around the world helping to support the dismantling of the US federal government.

Yuta Asahina and Sparkling Justice doodles.

Yuta's final design is the one with the jacket tied around his neck. Had a lot of fun with him. Really fun drawing these "splash sketches" I s'pose I'd call em hehe. Really fun all throughout.

Inspiration of both the little splashes are actually Genocide Jack and Komaru. With Yuuta based on GJ's, Makoto's on her sister with both them having guns and all.

Edit - some more ideas I had for the two overnight:

Yuta would be cycling between several melee weapons throughout the story like a walking arsenal, each weapon having its uses mirroring the UDG weapon effects. The baseball bat being the BREAK weapon for example, the Ping-pong paddle with assorted balls being MOVE, a sopping wet pool noodle being BURN, and a stop sign for KNOCKBACK. All these items are stored in a special utility belt that shrinks everything down for Yuta till he needs it.

With enough buildup, Yuta can summon Makoto/Sparkling justice. Sparkling justice is ranged and his bullets and gun are customizable. He starts with a six-shooter but can upgrade into different guns which have different clip/mag sizes, calibers, and more. Whenever his clip runs out he changes back.

Just some more designs to finalize and then it's the big set. :)

disclaimer: obviously people should not be expected to make choices about their own bodies based on what i, eliot yardsards, personally find attractive. BUT!!! every time i am forced to see before-and-after photos of fat removal surgery, i feel the same sort of horror-sadness that i feel when i see a beautiful historical house get remodeled into a shitty impractical open floorplan and repainted into landlord greige.

THAT SAID, any motherfucker who ADVERTISES said cosmetic procedures, with the implication that the "before" pic was objectively worse than the "after" pic, and that if your body looks like the "before" pic then that's a problem that you need to pay them to correct? those mfs deserve to be drawn and quartered in the town square. medieval style.

This man is innocent, his appearance and build doesn’t match that of the killers, the only “motive” he had was a convenient written confession showing that he supposedly viewed healthcare companies as “parasitic” and too expensive (which does somewhat contradict the actual killers actions) he had said note and the murder weapon conveniently on him while living his ordinary life, the killer held the gun in his right hand while Luigi is left-handed, Luigi and the Killer were potentially seen simultaneously, they wore slightly different coats.

The NYPD KNOW these are different people, they know the evidence is lacking, this isn’t a mistaken identity, it’s framing, they are trying to make themself appear to still be control by catching this man, humiliating him, killing him, when they know full well that the person they are prosecuting ISNT EVEN THE RIGHT GUY! This is an injustice! This is not a fair trial! This is downright tyranny!

what's ur go-to food for when ur severely nauseated, but really need to eat?

I got my gallbladder removed yesterday and being surrounded by people from all social classes, genders and races reminded how much of a monster you’d have to be to think universal healthcare only benefits “leaches” or whatever.

I was put through a bunch of tests for months to find out what was causing my pain and nausea, I got cheap medicine to manage my symptoms while I waited for my operation date (I could have waited under a month if I had taken the offer of getting operated in a different city but decided to wait instead) I got a bunch of free pills and injections in preparation for the operation, I got operated, I was sent to recovery where they helped manage my pain with morphine followed by anti-nausea, they gave me food for my blood sugar, information and phone numbers to call if I got nervous and finally sent me home with more morphine pills.

I’m far from a “leach” yet there’s no way I would have been able to pay for all that here and now. That’s why it’s good actually to pay taxes for this sort of thing because not only is it cheaper than a private insurance but it’s incredibly heartwarming to be surrounded by people you know you also helped get the help they needed.

The whole thing from the first day I called my doctor about pain and nausea to me sitting here with no gallbladder took less than a year and the only thing I had to pay for out of pocket was some cheap medicine and I’m currently on sick leave which I’m also getting paid for.

I promise you, a bit of socialism isn’t so scary.
