Praise be to God who blessed the people of Gaza, after 470 days of fighting, destruction, hunger, fear and cold, by declaring a ceasefire today, Monday.

I, Yahya, would like to thank everyone who stood by my family and children and donated $5 to us, which alleviated some of the pain, hunger, and cold.

God willing, I will move to a new stage in which I will be able to treat my child, Mira, by traveling abroad, rebuilding my home, and living a decent life for my family. 🏠

Every time I look at Yahya's fundraiser, I see little if any progress has been made and it makes me very worried for his daughter Mira. Mira's surgery has already had to be put off for weeks because they haven't raised enough funds for it. She spends nights crying and is running high fevers without much or any relief. They are living in a unsuitable tent for winter and lack winter clothes. Sometimes they don't eat for a day because Yahya can't find food, and there hasn't been any food aid coming in. Their mother has gone for months without medication for her heart disease.

Yahya doesn't know what else to do to make people want to donate to him again. He asks me how he can get popular bloggers' attention or how he can make his posts look more appealing. He should not have to be doing any of this. People should look at a child under the age of ten who desperately needs surgery and help, regardless of how "pretty" a post is, or if they're online often enough, or how "nice" they make themselves to others. Help Mira now and provide this family some relief during this time.
