a kazuma doodle i enjoyed and a 221b sibling doodle i forgot to show
honestly before I started playing tgaa, I always envisioned it as an ace attorney game that’s set in the meiji and victorian eras that features sherlock holmes as a side character because it’s the time period and what a fun idea. and I mean that’s definitely not an inaccurate description of the game per se, but it also really undersells just how integral sholmes is to the whole thing.
like the whole game uses the “herlock sholmes” stories as a framing device. ryunosuke and susato literally end up living at 221b in sholmes’ attic. at some point it feels more like shu takumi is writing a holmes story and going “and here are my OCs two law students from japan oh and also holmes and watson’s daughter. I hope you like them :)” and I do. I like them a lot.
"Average Japanese man uncovers 3 government secrets in his lifetime" factoid actually just statistical error. average Japanese man uncovers 0 goverment secrets a year. Government-Secrets Ryu who lives in an attic & uncovers 10,000 british government secrets yearly is a statistical outlier and should not have been counted
So I have been playing The Great ace attorney and not talking about it here because of spoilers but I am on 2-3 and the aa fandom deserves to know that my power cut out the second I saw Baroks forward facing sprite for the first time. And I'm not entirely sure that it wasn't the sheer power of him looking at me that tripped my electrics
