May I ask for a mini tutorial on how you draw Misha's face? I'm trying to study his face and you draw him so squimchily 👉👈

Hi! Thank you for the question. I'm so happy you like my art enough to ask. I've done a quick lil thing that may help. I'll put my chicken scratch in text below as well.

  1. Have a lot of Mishas on standby! References are always helpful.
  2. Jaw: square, Head: wide, Eyes: sad (the ends of his eyes droop down), Brow: furrowed, Base of nose: wide, Mouth: flat with cupid's bow, Fluff hair and add 5 o'clock shadow. That's a Misha!
  3. Slap the features on a 3D form.
  4. Mess around with it! When I "paint" I'm constantly pushing/pulling features until I'm happy with it.

I took a long break from drawing during my college/early workforce years, so I'm not the most consistent person with my process.

That being said:

I remember the Loomis method being super helpful to learn 3D forms.

There is always an "ugly" stage and you have to push through it without getting stuck on details. When you want to zoom into something, tell yourself to zoom out instead. Broad strokes get the message across. You can add detail at the end.

For me the ugly stage is throwing features onto a 3D form. Looks terrible to me until it doesn't.

I won't bother trying to explain how I paint, its a huge mess that I wing most every time. The one thing I stand by: pick one color for highlights, pick a wildly different color for shadows. Focus on highs and lows and the midtone will figure itself out.

Thank you again for asking :)

it really is crazy how quickly people were willing to just let chatgpt do everything for them. i have never even tried it. brother i don't even know if it's just a website you go to or what. i do not know where chatgpt actually lives, because i can decide my own grocery list.

i wisely turned off the notes on this when it was at 700 but oh my god stop telling me what you "just" use it for in the notes shut the fuck up shut the fuck up I AM NOT A CATHOLIC PRIEST, I DO NOT ABSOLVE YOU. WRITE YOUR OWN EMAILS.

My respect goes out to everyone who writes fanfiction. Whether you're crafting epic sagas, filling in missing moments, or just having fun with an AU, it takes so much creativity and dedication to bring those ideas to life.

Writing isn’t easy—finding the right words, keeping the momentum, and sometimes just convincing yourself to start can be a challenge. And yet, fanfic writers do it anyway, pouring love into their stories, expanding worlds, and giving us all something to obsess over.

I’ve even tried writing myself, and let me tell you—it’s hard. I don’t know if I can keep it going, and now I completely understand why there are so many unfinished fics out there. It takes so much effort to see a story through to the end, and honestly? That makes me respect fic writers even more.

So if you write fanfiction—whether you share it or keep it to yourself—just know that it’s appreciated. You’re amazing. Keep writing.

What the hell, Gordo.

My teacher recently watched Juror #2, and so we got the assignment to draw a comic based off of the concept, and this stupid shit is what I came up with.

My favourite part is the lawyers being totally fed up with Riddler and Joker.

If you're confused, don't worry, it's natural.
