My durge from bg3 :D

His name is Felix, he's a College of Swords bard! It's a random art dump: one of the first portraits just to understand his features (1), him and his bestie as kids (2-3), him from act I to act III (4-5), some kind of cyberpunk-like setting (? Was made just for fun, yuh)

He's my first character from my very first run, I love him dearly

This is charoite

A pretty rock, that literally only exists in one place in Siberia. Not just only mined there, we didn't find any amounts of it anywhere else

There's a story about a guy from the team that first discovered it. He went to an exhibition in Paris, that boasted that they had every mineral in their collection. So the dude whips s piece of charoite, and they have to admit that they don't even know what it is. And when the owner tries to buy it, the guy goes "nuh-uh," presumably so they can't keep boasting

Do I know anything about portal? No

Do I have a very specific theory on what the white paint from the second game is? Yes

So, we know it's white and made from moon rocks. Moon is actually rich in ilmenite, mineral used to produce titanium dioxide. TiO2 is a white powder with good reflective qualities, it's used in sunscreen and as white coloring in paint and food dye

Now, it doesn't explain why the old prick died from it, but maybe he was allergic, idk

yes we all know about medieval jesters waging psychological warfare in times of combat, but wait there’s more!

at the beginning of battles they would ride in on horseback, juggling swords or lances, and taunt & bait  the opposition. soldiers would get so angry they would break rank & weaken formations just to try to kill the fool

Worldbuilding idea: awakened statues at a magical university

It was originally supposed to be one or two, to help carry stuff for mages. But the condition proved contagious, and soon most of statues there became sentient. They usually stand around as they are supposed to, and hey, they can reduce cost for maintenance, so nobody does anything about it

Got called a conspiracy theorist by my professor for adding a "geology and fraud" chapter in a report. Sir, it's not a "theory" if there's paperwork, that's just conspiracy.

Some cool geology. This is not a mouse. This is a mineral in the shape that used to be a mouse.

A pseudomorph is when a mineral takes a shape that isn't typical for it, like in fossils. The museum doesn't exactly know where this mouse comes from, but it's probably from a copper mine.
