y'all i started watching tlok for the first time and i wanna post my thoughts on it as i go. i already did ep 1 on twitter but I'm thinking of also bringing it over here as well.

i've obviously heard things about tlok but i've never seen it bc i just know i'd be incredibly hypercritical of it bc atla is my favorite show of all time and ik they change some of the lore and i DONT LIKE THAT

BUT

i'm willing to give it a chance bc i can't just blindly dislike something without giving it a try. plus a waterbending avatar?? a girl avatar? absolutely

and ik she's muscular like lets fucking go actually

so, yeah. stay tuned for that if y'all care

i love zutara bc not only are they a gorgeous couple but the snark between the two of them would be off the fucking charts. they're both so hot-headed and passionate and stubborn that they wouldn't let the other get away with anything and that's honestly what both of them need

rewatching the final agni kai and that whole sequence is the best scene in the show easily. the music, the choreography, the animation, the colors, the ZUTARA. actual perfection

AND TO ADD TO THE SOKKA AND ZUKO BROTHERS IN LAW GOODNESS:

they’re both masters with swords so that’s definitely something they can bond over! maybe they gift each other a sword every once in awhile. maybe they both start practicing with knives since they’re both great at using swords.

maybe they spar and the loser has to tell katara that they broke that vase she really liked.

OMG just had a crazy thought:

one of zuko’s hobbies is fucking creating stained glass art pieces.

zuko is supposed to be in a meeting but instead of doing his literal job he’s in his little art room creating the next modern masterpiece.

(he gifts each of his loved ones with an art piece including a particularly beautiful one of the southern water tribe for his wife)

katara waterbending shaved ice for zuko and their kids on a hot summer day is a need. if i had any talent i’d draw it but, alas
