Moominvalley (2016—2018)

I had an opportunity to work on the visual development of the Moominvalley, an animated series based on the beloved stories and characters of Tove Jansson. The series was directed by Oscar-winning director Steve Box (best known for Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit) and our team worked under production designer Sarah Hauldren. Artistic vision for the series was that nature plays one of the leading roles in the series, setting the tone and reflecting the emotions of the characters. Majority of my efforts in the visual development consisted of defining the light and color palette of some of the key locations and shots.
