Passenger and freight train services resumed across Finland on Saturday, though some cancellations were still possible, according to state railways VR.

The work stoppage halted nearly all commuter and long distance trains in Finland on Friday.

The protest hinged on an alleged breach of contract. Drivers claimed that VR had breached the existing collective agreement.
