The delegation, led by Royal Dutch Shell and Nokia Chair Jorma Ollila, has outlined a strategy to make the country more appealing.

In 2008, Stubb called on the delegation to fine-tune Finland’s competitive edge. In addition to boosting the Finnish economy, the group has sought ways of attracting more travellers and improving Finland’s standing on the world stage.

The delegation's four committees have focused on strategy, culture, communications and business.

Members include Nokia executive and former Prime Minister Esko Aho, former CEO of iconic Finnish design house Marimekko Mika Ihamuotila, history professor Laura Kolbe and communications consultant and former politician Kirsi Piha.
