Some packaged trips are already sold out and last minute deals on end-of-the-summer getaways are moving fast.
But travel agencies Finnmatkat and Finland Travel Bureau say there are plenty of spots available for those in search of sun, particularly during December and January. Favourite destinations in the winter include the Canary Islands and Thailand, while Greece, Spain and Italy are hot travel spots in the autumn.
