EasyJet has high hopes for the profitability of the route, banking on business travellers choosing a cheaper option. The company intends to open up new routes throughout the Nordic countries.
In October, EasyJet released a poll conducted by the Gallup Organisation which concluded that 75 percent of Finns feel that there are not enough airline options for travellers. Around half said they would use budget airlines more often, if there were more cheap flights available.
